Guys, photobucket is really pissing me off. I uploaded a bunch of pictures, and they SHOULD have all upoaded correctly, but some didn't appear in my album. I uploaded them AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN and they STILL won't show up I'm all like "CURSE YOU PHOTOBUCKET I HATE YOU SO MUCH" and photobucket is all like "lol trollface".

The images that won't upload are the ones for the beginning of the update. I could probably do the update without them, but it would be kind of odd.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

FACE

PALM

I figured out the problem. It turns out you can only have 2500 images in a single album, and I had reached that limit for my default album.

That really should have been more obvious to me.

Also, Malum, I have no idea what you are talking about.

Malum wrote:When you murdered those Guys in the dark brotherhood in their sleep, Did you loot the chests beside them?

I didn't murder them in my sleep, I defeated them in fisticuffs to the death. IT IS AN IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE.

Also, I took images of the contents of each of the chests beside their bed It's in the most recent update.. Unless you are wondering if I took the stuff in their chest, in which case the answer is yes, I did.

Well, I suppose I should go get that dead drop. TIME TO RIDE!

I know I haven't come up with a team name yet but honestly I was expecting you guys to suggest something. I guess for now we can be called the "Punch Misers". You know, like the heat miser and snow miser, but with punches instead of temperature and murder instead of catchy songs.

Image

Martin is getting so left behind right now, but I CARE NOT

Image

According to my quest log, the dead drop should be located in that rock right there.

Image
Image

A necromancer, eh? Sounds simple enough. I doubt killing him would even be considered a crime, what with how much everyone seems to hate necromancers.

Image

It is a fairly long journey south to get to his cave, though. Good thing I have a horse now!

Image

NO CLIFF IS TOO STEEP FOR SHADOWMERE!

Image

...If Shadowmere slips here, we're probably dead.

...Martin is probably really tired out from trying to keep up. He's probably a mile away by now.

Image

I come across another deadric alter, but I decide to leave it. I do not have a good history with these alters.

I still have nightmares about underwater bears!

Image

Another doomstone? Huzzuh! Unfortunately, it is day time, and these things only work at night. There is only one solution...

Image

To wait 7 hours for night to come!

Wow, Martin still hasn't caught up. He was REALLY left behind!

Image

With the greater power it just gave me, I might be able to cast some really expensive spells I would never even be able to attempt otherwise!

Image

We come across a bandit camp. Wow, not only is Shadowmere a trusty steed, she can fight pretty well too!

Image

Haha, take that you dumb bandit, that's what you get for attacking my horse!

Image

I fast travel to the camp I am already standing in. This sounds like it does nothing, but it allows Martin to teleport to my position.

NOW THE GANG IS TOGETHER AGAIN!

Image

That is, until I ride off again and leave Martin behind.

If you were wondering if horses in oblivion could swim, the answer is yes, but they swim VERY VERY SLOWLY.

Image

We find another bandit camp. Haha, that bandit thinks he can take down my horse, what an idio-

Image

WHAT? NO! YOU KILLED SHADOWMERE YOU BASTARD!

Image

OH GOD IT IS LIKE LOSING FREDDIE HORSEGIANT ALL OVER AGAIN

Image

What? Shadowmere, you are getting back up! I was right! You ARE an essential NPC! Or maybe you are just an evil zombie horse. That would explain the red eyes.

Image

The bandit is disposed of easily, especially now that I have Shadowmere with me again!

Image

I do the fast travel thing and Martin shows up. Hey, Martin, you have a horse now! Now you don't have to deal with running until your lungs implode every time I ride Shadowmere somewhere!

Image

Wait... speaking of Shadowmere, where did she go?

Image

I find here a short distance north from the camp. Apparently, Shadowmere is programmed to walk back to Lucien's fort after knocked unconscious unless I remount her again. I'll have to keep that in mind, as finding her if I forget to remount her could be really difficult.

Image

Anyway, we find the cave with the necromancer I have to kill. For some reason, Martin decided to walk rather than bring his horse. He's kind of weird like that.

Image

Horses can't go through doors, so only Martin, the Quest Log (who I will from this point on refer to as "Questy" until I can think of something better) and I enter the cave. This mission will probably require stealth, something that is not one of Martin's strong points, so I tell him to wait at the entrance until further notice.

Image

Well, it definitely looks like a necromancer was here. I should probably investigate-

Image

Oh crap it's a wraith.

FEEL MY FEARSOME OUTDATED-FOR-MY-LEVEL LIGHTNING DESTRUCTION MAGIC, FOUL BEAST!

Image

It turns out that, despite their ghost-like appearance, I can actually just punch wraiths.

I really wish I had known that earlier.

Anyway, after the wraiths are defeated, I search the room. I find a journal. Apparently, becoming a Lich (which is what this necromancer wants to do) is a lot of work and requires binding your soul to something. Most of the journal is just pointless nonsense, but the last few pages contain information that may actually be useful.

Image
Image

An hourglass is his weakness, eh? My quest log recommends that I pickpocket it off of him. Sounds like a good plan, Questy! Although, I really wish you'd stop referring to me as "I". It's... a little weird.

Image

I head deep into the caves to find the Necromancer. He is just around this corner. I decide to use my invisibility. I don't want to risk getting spotted.

Image

I sneak up behind the Necromancer (which is easy, considering I'm invisible) and prepare to take the hourglass.

Image

He immediately falls over dead when I take it.

Wow, that was easy!

Image

The battle is not over yet, though. I still have to fight my way out of the caves.

Image

A lich? Really? Wasn't the whole point of this mission so I wouldn't have to fight one of these things?

Oh well. It ends up going down really easily, anyway. I'm not sure why we were so concerned about that Necromancer becoming one of them!

Image

With the mission finished, we head over to Chorrol to find my reward. Apparently, it is located near the big tree near the center of the city. You know, the place where I killed all those guards in that battle royal way back when. Good times.

Image

Ah, here it is.

Image

Only 500 gold? That's it? I loot more than that off a dead highwayman (if you count the price of his armor, at least).

At least I get my next mission.

Too bad you guys don't get to know what it is until the next update.

You take the hourglass because he's set to Necessary NPC until you do.

Okay guys, I had just finished update, but when I hit "preview" I discovered all the images were much too big. You see, to get around bandwidth limits I started a new photobucket account, and I forget to set the resizing options before I uploaded the pictures.

It should be any longer than 30-40 minutes for me to re-upload the pictures and change all the image links, though, though, so get ready guys because ITS A GOOD ONE.

I don't think it's really necessary for him to do that. Usually he's just asking me a question, anyway, although I do agree that a number of his posts here should probably go in General Game Gabbin'
