Bowser is awesome, I just love the guy. To think he started out as the most standard villain ever, and now he's just as much of a figurehead as Mario. He's always playable nowadays, and you're actually able to sympathize with his oafish anti-heroism.

Red, from pokemon.

Princess Peach, for a lot of the same reasons as Bowser. She just started out as basically nothing and is now doing everything she can whenever she isn't kidnapped. Love that bitch.

Samus too, probably. She's just so intense and brave.

also, Midna. Best secondary character in a LoZ game, hands down.
