Hey guys, I'm back! And I've brought a guest with me! This time, the role of Girl Who's Name We Don't Care About will be played by Guy We Don't Care About! ....err, I mean Mond!
Also, this time I actually have some episodes saved up, so it's not a case of "coming back but only for two episodes then going back on hiatus" again. I'm sticking with my 1-every-2-days schedule though.
Oh yeah, and I won't be going back to the Battle Frontier after all. Half because I just want to finish it sooner rather than later, and half because... I sorta forgot about it. Whoops!
The next Pokemon I need is across a SINGLE little lake, which I should be able to just swim across. But noo, the game forces me to use yet ANOTHER HM slave in my party!
Also, I'm bringing Staravia with me because I don't want to hike all the way back to a Pokecenter afterwords. Meaning I now have a functional team of four!
I don't know WHAT I'd do without being able to fly in this game!
Hey, remember the league?
Remember what ELSE is around here?
That's right, we have to go back though Victory Road AGAIN!
And yes, I could skip bringing Tentacruel if I went through the other side, but I really don't want to just to be able to have a Porygon on my team!
Oh... kay, so maybe I wouldn't quite be able to swim though this lake...
BRACE FOR IMPAC-
Right on cue! Oh Gravelers, at least your sheer level of bastardry is predictable!
Ehh... crap. I did NOT account for having to go up walls!
Why the heck do they even have these in Victory Road anyway? I mean, completely vertical tall walls blocking your only possible route that you can't go around!
Ugh!
So yes, now I have to use THREE HM slaves for this! This bloody Pokemon better be worth all this effort!
I swear all these empty screenshots are necessary for development!
How did I miss this the first time? And considering it was right before the League, it would've been actually useful too!
Oh Fog, how I hate thee! It's one of those things that isn't un-navigateable enough that you feel the need to bring a HM slave, but where it is significant enough that it really pisses you off!
Fortunately I actually DO have a Pokemon that knows Defog this time! Lucky me!

Say hello to the fourth, and last, Stat Trainer!
No really, who are you.
Okay, so there's normally five, but I skipped one. SUCK IT UP!
You know what, never mind.

WHAT A SURPRISE! A stat trainer who wants me to guide her through the area? Totally didn't see this coming!
It's just that I'm really scared of well-lit, roomy places.

I'm still resentful that I don't actually get a choice in the matter.
Not that I'd say No or anything, but it's the thought that counts, right?
Shut up and start walking already. I don't have all day.
To shove or not to shove?
I am now completely resentful.

Yes, yes, someone already told me that at the beginning of the game. Man, talk about a late tutorial!

Oh HEEEEY, a Metang! First one we've seen all game!
Have I mentioned that Metangs are GOD-AWESOMELY AWESOME?

...and possibly PATHETICALLY WEAK?
Hey, don't look at me. All I know is that it looks awesome, is a robot, and evolves into an utter BEAST of a Pokemon!

IT'S A LUCIDOLO!
We can dance if we want to!
We can leave your friends behind!

'Cause your fr- wait, what? Arcanine, why on earth are you using Helping Hand? You're 6 levels higher than me! And an effing Arcanine!
For those who don't know, Helping Hand is a move that skips your go, but boosts your ally's attack by 1.5.
Yeah, it's pretty daisies useless.

I think we all saw this coming.
Do you think I'd tag along with someone like you if I didn't absolutely need to?

I'M COUNTING THAT AS TWO POKEMON!
Well, it is.

Oh hey, MORE boulder-pushing puzzles. Except these ones aren't even remotely difficult. C'mon game, this is post-league territory, I think you can make them a little harder than this!

By using no premonition whatsoever and just using basic attacks?

...or just sending out a horny blanket and a mime.
PSYCHIC MINDS AT WORK!
Not sure if I like the way Mr. Mine is looking at that Shuppet.

I think its about time I started using Roosevelt again, she hasn't had much to do for a while.

Aaaand I forgot that her sole attack is a psychic one.
So maybe there's a reason she hasn't had much to do...
And you dare call me useless.

EXTREEEEME ARCANINE! YEAH!

I still find it incredibly odd that they actually put in a Flying TM that the majority of Pokemon can learn.
IT CONTINUES TO MAKE NO SENSE!

I'm... not entirely sure how this happened. Considering its Roosevelt!
Also, Arcanine seems to have an affinity for dying.
Should've shoved you after all.

...
Oh this is just mean!

Seriously, when did this cave suddenly decide to go all Bronzor on me?!

Oh sure, Helping Hand Arcanine can survive with just losing half its health, but Psyguy goes down like a brick!

Wootinary! Now I can evolve my...
Umm...
Well at least it's pretty to look at!
It's manly purple.
