It's anchoring him to the train while he leans towards the edge, I believe? It's basically a screenshot from the video that was released. If you pause the video a few seconds in you'll find it. I just don't have the ability to Photoshop anything.

Considering the cheddar-grabbing schemes Nintendo pulls, I would not be surprised. It probably wouldn't be released for a while, though. Maybe when Spirit Tracks is released?
