It IS possible to do the Gathering Hall quests by yourself though. Just takes a little longer, haha. Make sure you've got good weapons and armor!

they also hit harder, i believe.

and the health boost is pretty significant too, most solo online quests take me around 40 minutes, just under the time limit, maybe 30 if i'm using an LBG.

some of them, like gogmanzios, actually ran out the timer even when i went at it with two other dudes.

it's best to just have some teammates.

I defeated the Shagaru Magala. It was pretty hard considering you can't really retreat since your trapped in the area with it. Especially since my palicos kept getting knocked out when I needed them to distract it to sharpen my weapons and heal. There was this rock that blocked most of its attacks, but it broke it, and it was rude. I ent up using all the mega potions I had on me.

I hope I got enough materials to at least upgrade my weapons so I don't have to fight it more than necessary.

The double Rathalos DLC quest is complete bullshit. My head actually hurts from being so mad at it.

actually not even close to being the worst form of rathian. it's outstanding. there's a worse one. it's gold. it's exactly the same except it's fire attacks are larger ranged, it hits way harder, and if you hit it with anything below like, white sharpness, your attacks just clang off.

I find Silverlos more difficult than Goldian.
Mostly because it flies EVERYWHERE and trying to fight it with anything that's short like Dual Blades or Sword and Shield is a nightmare.

Changed from full Monoblos set to Najarala S and packed some flash bombs and she got a little easier, at least.

Managed to do the 5-star Urgent in the Gathering Hall with that setup.

Even then good god Pinkie Pie is quick on the draw with that daisies tail when she's mad.
