Technically, both videos were posted back then. I would know, because the post they're in is mine.

Though Aquabat has the right idea to put them in the beginning of this new page.

Wish I had thought of something like that. I guess I could make a new hunter, but considering the snail pace that I'm going through the game (which isn't helped by the Puzzles and Dragons delay), I think I'll just stick to the hunter that I have now.

I got frustrated trying to get the Garuga Guild Quest because I didn't realize until today that you don't actually have to kill it for a chance to get the quest.

killing it makes it SIGNIFICANTLY more likely to get the quest

also, what rank are you? there's a G-rank garuga DLC quest which is a lot easier to deal with than guild quests.

I'm still Low Rank because I'm working on getting every armor set and hammer and yes I know I shouldn't do that yeah whatever

ALSO GOD JESUS FUCK THIS EXPEDITION. I seriously have the hardest fucking time killing this thing alongside a Najarala and then I kill the Najarala, get a shiny drop, and NO QUEST AT ALL. THAT'S A FUCKING 90% CHANCE.

it's no so much that you shouldn't, as much as you physically cannot.

there isn't enough room for every single armor set being in the box at once, all low rank armors only maybe, but with every hammer i can't imagine even a chance.

and then once you hit high rank, there simply isn't enough space for all of the armor sets.

Decided to actually hunt a bit more.
Got to Hunter Rank 7. Created the Patissier's armour set with the Golden Falchion to beat the Shagaru Magala.
Currently have these skills on that set.

The Patissier's set is really nice and unique. Bring the materials to craft healing items, and then slap Wide-Range +2 on it, you can use lifepowders and potions constantly and keep a whole group healed or cure poison and blights whenever they show up.

It also upgrades pretty well, so you can easily upgrade it to where it will work for a majority of G-rank as well. It's a good set.

WHAT. THE HELL. IS GOING ON.

I HAVE AN EXPEDITION FOR NAJARALA AND GARUGA

EVERY RESOURCE I'VE READ ONLINE SAYS KILLING TWO LARGE MONSTERS GUARANTEES A QUEST

KILLED THEM BOTH

I GOT NOTHING

Edit: Tried a different expedition with Kut Ku and Najarala, killed the Kut Ku, picked up a shiny, AND I GOT FUCKING NOTHING AGAIN. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON ARE YOU KIDDING ME. THIS IS FUCKING BULLSHIT. WHY AM I NOT GETTING THESE QUESTS WHEN EVERY FUCKING RESOURCE ON THE INTERNET SAYS I SHOULD BE

How many guild quests do you have on reserve? If you have more than 50, you won't be able to get more. You can delete them then go to town.

Alternatively, you might be doing the guild quests instead of the expeditions, which means you'll get nothing but rewards from the monsters and a tougher guild quest.

Out of all the games I play, I must admit Monster Hunter brings out the worst in me.

It's kind of a Love/Hate relationship now that I think about it.
I hate so many things in Monster Hunter but I love it so much.

"Oh my god that Rathian's tail was NOWHERE NEAR ME!"
"HOW DID I DIE IN ONE HIT?!"
"Oh great, now I'm DEAD!"
"GIVE ME THAT ONE FREAKING ITEM I NEED ALREADY!"
Gawd, I hate you so much Monster Hunter but I can't stay away.

Edit:
So I was looking at Chameleos pictures on google and somehow found this monstrosity.

I also did the frenzied Lagombi and Zamtrios caravan quest and that was way easier than I expected. I only ended up using one nulberry mostly because I am still kind of terrified of Zamtrios when it rushes at you, so I tend to stay away from them when they curl up.
