I'm trying to figure out who my secondary main should be after Ganon. I'm leaning toward Bowser since I played him a lot in brawl but I think I should have someone who isn't a heavyweight in backup like Rosaluma or Peach. I did play Peach a ton in brawl so I'm pretty comfortable but for some reason she's much harder to control for me in this game.

He beat my G-dorf AND my Little Mac, so then I went Ike which is about the time they switched to either Tiki or Sumia!Lucina. Tried G-dorf, lost. Tried Mac, lost. Then Ike. And Ike. And Ike. And Marth. Still kept losing.
But then......
ROBIN
I actually started winning by picking the character they started with and I had little to no practice with. After a while of getting tired of shield breaks I swore I should've avoided, I went to Nowi!Lucina... and
I won. Several times, even.
"Yeah! Don’t even think of messing with Nowi!"
On another note, most of the players I've fought in For Glory are pretty nice/fair. Like, a few times I've died within the first 30 seconds for something stupid (like not grabbing a ledge I should've easily grabbed, or having a Little Maccident -- that is, Side-B'ing towards the edge just one step too far to land on the stage). In those cases, some lovely people have self-destructed to make it an even 1-stock battle instead of the 2. I do it, too. There is no glory in an unfair victory. This isn't For Tryhard.
I agree that it's nice to let someone who fucked up spectacularly catch up so you can still have a decent match, but it's not unfair to win because your opponent fucked up.

I've got G-dorf, Ike, and Mac, and I'm trying to learn Lucina because dat neutral B, yo. Horizontal mid-air recovery that doesn't take away second jump/Up-B. And I found out from fighting one that you don't need to charge it long at all to insta-break shields.

Well, unfair was the wrong word. Not sure which to use. Anyways, the ones that don't balance the scales after I blunder before even hitting them had better pick a god and pray that I'm not that I'm not playing Ike. He's my great equal-Ike-zer.

My favorite For Glory match was one against some Captain Falcon as Ganon. We ended up taunted for awhile, then I jumped off the stage and he did the same, and an epic 1-life no holds bar fight ensued.

I love all the "LAWL 3DS VERSION SUCKS NOW" comments. Bitch no it does not, it's still a great game. And everybody already knew that the Wii U version would be the one everyone would end up playing.

The 3DS version is really good for when you're on the road, considering you can't bring the Wii U with you.
Also, can't wait to see how they bring back Mewtwo, I hope he's fun to use, but he could probably end up being based off of Lucario ironically.

Dear God, the Engage the Enemy remix, holy shit, I wonder if it's from the Xenoblade medley.
Also, was that a Yoshi's Woolly World remix during the amiibo section?
Everyone's out being hype about Mewtwo and I'm just sitting here gasming over music.

Could be Wooly World or Epic Yarn, both very likely to appear as stages...well, actually, Wooly World is releasing in 2015, and they wouldn't put in a stage or music for a game that's not released yet, soooooooo
