Seriously, I was Shulking around and these two Charizards kept falling to their death because I either dodged or jumped right over their fire blast like "Yeah no shit that killed you." I'll have to upload a vid of it some time.

You mean Flare Blitz? Yeah, as far as I can tell, that and Meta Knight's Side B shouldn't be used without solid ground nearby that you can land on. No recovery.

You'd think a guy with wings would be able to make that recovery...

As someone who doesn't play Smash that often, I tend to like flying characters to counter my tendency to accidentally jump off the edge

just use sonic "insane recovery montgomery" the hedgehog

Even his "shortest recovery highest attack power" custom still goes fucking high. It's not "gotta go fast" anymore, it's "gotta go several meters above the stage to recover".
