I almost feel bad for neglecting so many characters only to play a bunch as Mii (gunner). They're so satisfying to use.

I tried Ike a few times and I don't know if I like him yet. He feels a lot faster but I feel like they took a lot of power from him. His forward air especially got nerfed damage wise. I'm liking Pac-Man though, as well as Robin.

Yeah, Ike feels a lot looser, less damage but a bit more agile. I've found myself not quite hitting as hard, but hitting more often, and.

Does anyone know if there's a way to increase the number of lives you have in classic mode? I can't believe they'd start you out with just two.

Naw as far as I know you can't change it. That's why they have the difficulty slider and tied everything more closely to losing cheddar.
Also the Fighting Mii Team is cool and all I suppose but I wish they brought back the Fighting Wireframes because they were awesome

considering you get your lives back after every fight I don't see why you'd need to increase them
unless that doesn't happen on higher difficulties

Didn't know that happened. Didn't have any problems until I got to Master Hand & Crazy Hand.

little mac is my new main
it's 100% fucking awful when people realize you're useless off stage and conspire to keep you off stage but if they follow you to make sure then slip counter is the best recovery
also insanely fast forward smash, not even funny
he's not as pure gimmick as i thought he was, but he's still definitely not an air character, by any means. His side B and up B, both basically for recovery, send him into helpless and have no ability to change direction even slightly. Up B always goes STRAIGHT up, side B always sends you to the side in a very specific arc
i have SD'd several times from just trying to KO punch someone and holding the stick JUST too long and just fucking jumping over my opponent and the stage edge and sailing off into the abyss
