Re: Super Smash Bros
The Wii U release date should be announced during the stream on Friday.
If we are to receive the demo as well, they'll probably mention it then, too.
EDIT: It appears that this was mistaken info; my apologies.

Boo, what if my waifu was Panne. (I can still have tag battles with female Robin and Chrom, though.)

At least her final smash isn't landmaster.
Seriously though Lucina's going to end up better than Marth; Marth's range has been fucked up making his tipper mechanic a pain to use, while shieldbreaker and counter got buffs. Lucina gets to mess around with instantly broken shields and a KO-capable counter without faffing about with this "spacing" and "strategy" nonsense that doesn't even give that much more reward for lots of extra effort.

Re: Super Smash Bros
I think Marth will be in a balanced state with the rest of the cast now. His spacing game gave him too much of an advantage against a good part of the cast, and with the buffs to counter and shield breaker he should still be completely viable. People who have played the game in Japan over the weekend talked about how many of the characters feel a lot better, and hopefully this means every character is now viable against each other. Whenever I try to watch Melee tourneys I get so bored with the complete lack of character diversity. Smash 4 looks like it is trying its hardest to assuage this.

Fixed. (I'm saying you should dump Chrom and go for the best not-really-refined lord in the series.) (Sorry, Hector)Domon-Kasshu wrote:Not a problem! Ike is in the game.Petah-Petah wrote:I married Chrom, though.
Seriously though I really love some of the costumes and new designs in this game. Updating Ike and Marth to their latest canonical appearances was an excellent idea, as was avoiding the terrible Awakening DLC designs. A shame lots of other characters look about the same, though. I'm guessing everyone who's a veteran but unrevealed looks the same as Brawl, but not as unsaturated.

Re: Super Smash Bros
I'm wondering if Ness will have a Lucas palette swap. With Wolf pretty much confirmed for being gone, I'm pretty sure Lucas will go, too.
With the moveset customization, maybe it will be possible to "make" these characters? Like use the "Wolf costume" for Fox, but give him moves that more closely resemble Wolf's. Then, play pretend all day.
I don't know, I don't think they've talked that much about the moveset customization thing and I'm really interested in that aspect.

I like how Shulk's are all the party members (and the speedo alt) I really like the dunban, sharla, and reyn ones.
