Question: Did the leaker post an image of a menu that showed All-Star Mode? Was it locked?

No, if you don't have the full roster, All-Star mode just has a lock icon on it despite being unlocked. That's what was shown in the leak.

leak is beyond super confirmed
guy also didn't unlock mii fighters, so that leave four character spaces open, which is exactly the number of brawl reps we haven't seen. snake, lucas, wolf, and ice climbers.

According to "Japan" Fox has an alt costume that looks more or less just like Wolf so Wolf may or may not be deconfirmed

It'd have to be some insane photoshopping to be fake. The 2nd image even has a reflection of the person playing. The roster leak from earlier is pretty hard to disprove about now.
