Thank the lord. There's always that moment after a Pokéball comes out where everyone pauses to figure out what/whose it is.

I meant when people are fighting over the ball and just mashing A.

If you have clear access to the item/no one is around you then yeah, it's fine.

But when everyone is grabbing for it, you can sometimes catch it out of the air when the other guy throws it, and then you throw it, and the first guy still thinks it's his because it all happened so fast.

It doesn't happen often, but it does happen.

EDIT: I also usually play in team matches, so sometimes if I was on the other side of the screen/not paying attention to their fight, I'm not sure if my partner was the one who threw it or not.

It also gets confusing when you're doing pokeballs only with items on high.

In Melee each character had a trophy you got for completing each mode. Hopefully the same happens for the new one

Well, Brawl had the Final Smash trophies for all the characters. Those were epic.
