So at a super smash brothers brawl tourney at my camp everyone was either picking meta knight, zelda, or toon link. Of course I was the one being yelled at for choosing Ike then after winning through air dodges, down B counters, and just playing well, people were calling hacks at me, forgetting that ITS NOT MY daisies WII :rage:

Hmmm, maybe try getting them in the air first. Tornados usually easier to dodge when it's above you than when you're next to it/above it. I have the same problem with kirby, but I can usually just stone form into it/hammer when they're falling.

Most of my friends know all the moves that can be done in the game so they never call HAX but they are so hard to beat nonetheless.

If they're as bad at shielding and dodging as they sound, pick Lucas next time. Laugh as they rage at their inability to counter short hop PK FIRE PK FIRE PK FIRE

(of course, shielding or even perfect shielding PK fire isn't very difficult, it's mostly a pressuring and spacing tool for Lucas)

Your life is complete? What about the SSB4 game (hopefully) coming out 2012/2013 for the 3Ds and WiiU? That will be the best game for me on my 3Ds!!! :D :D :D

Lucas is great.
I still like Ness better though.

Also they just said they're making it so people would buy wii u's etc.
It worked for brawl, however, I don't see it working as well for wii u

But it's also for the 3Ds (so getting it on 3Ds!). I'm not sure I would get a WiiU just for that one game but if they make other good games I'll get a copy of SSB4 for my 3Ds and WiiU.

I like Lucas/Ness the same but Luigi pwns all!

Lucas is a bad character but I can't quit him, he's just too much fun to play

Whoa man, I PK love the EB boys too
It's just that I accept that I'm basically playing with a handicap whenever I choose them, partly because playing as them is so much more fun than any of the "better" characters in the game.

Speaking of earthbound Lucas is my secondary. While Ike is slow and close range, Lucas is fast and can punish foes from a distance with PK Fire, and close the distance with PK thunder, not to mention heal with PK magnet.

You keep saying they suck without saying why they suck, which they don't, ness has amazing air control and easily one of the best grabs in the game(backwards toss can KO most characters at about 100, his recovery can be shut down if you aren't careful but that's not a problem with a bit of practice, and lucas has some of the best short hop moves I can think of, let alone his great tap moves.
