Back in melee, I mained as pikachu and kirby, and eventually I started using roy a lot too. I loved his b attack, so amazing.

Now in brawl, heres a list of characters I am fluent in, in a general order of best to worst.

1: Marth.
2: Pikachu
Lucas
Kirby
Pit
Bowser
King dedede
Sonic
Snake
Link

And there are only a few characters that I will plainly refuse to play as.

Wolf/fox/falco
Yeah thats pretty much it. I just cannot use those people.

In Melee I used mostly Luigi, Mewtwo, Roy and Ness. In Brawl, it's mostly Luigi, Ganondork, Bowser and Wolf, and the rest of the cast gets used some times.

In Melee it was Roy, Young Link, or Fox.
In Brawl it is Diddy, Marth, and Lucas.
And I'm liking Wolf more now, so I'm going to try to use him more.

Luigi and Captain Falcon have been my bros since the original SSB, and that used to be true of Samus too but they messed her up too much with this ZSS thing in Brawl.

I use tilts but not so much after not playing for a while; I don't use grabs as much as I should either - but I find the opportunity to use those rarely comes up in SSB.

I've never liked Ness or Lucas really; I'm not familiar with them as characters and I don't like the way they play. I'm not familiar with Marth outside of Brawl either, but I've found him to be a usable character and he can be fun sometimes too.

I mained Young Link, Roy, and Mewtwo in Melee.

I now main Toon Link, Meta Knight, and Ganondorf. Yeah. I said it. I actually like playing as Ganondorf.

In 64 I just used Kirby all day erry day, he was easily the best character.
Melee, I alternated between Peach, Fox, and Dr. Mario.
In Brawl, I have a lot of characters; I would say my best two are Peach and Mr. Game &Watch, but I can also play Pokemon Trainer, Toon Link, Zero Suit Samus, and Bowser fairly effectively.

Brawl I use Ness, Lucas, Toon Link and Pokemon Trainer. Also I've recently taking a liking to Ice Climbers (huehuehue)
