I remember having created a cool moveset for Paper Mario a few years ago. Well, the specials anyway. I imagined him playing a lot differently from Mario, probably being a really defensive character.
B: Dimensional Flip
- His main power from Super Paper Mario. That weird cursor puts a box around PM and he flips sideways, completely immune to damage for a few seconds. Any character near him when this happens gets turned around, like when Mario uses his cape.
Side-B: Hammer Spin
- The attack from Paper Mario 2; Paper Mario spins around with his hammer out, which attacks and can also reflect projectiles. You can aim it up or down, so it's basically like ROB's one attack.
Up-B: Spring Jump
- P. Mario folds up and then launches into the air. Damages anyone in his path. You can press B again at the apex of his jump and he'll do a Ground-Pound similar to Yoshi.
Down-B: Super-Counter
- Paper Mario spins in place for a moment, and if any attack hits him it's negated, and a nearby foe will take damage.
Final Smash: Peach Beam
- The seven Star Spirits from Paper Mario 1 appear in the center of the stage and rotate in a large circular formation. The inside of the circle is filled with a huge beam for a little while. It's pretty awesome.
