Re: Super Smash Bros
On the subject of updating movesets, there's only one thing I would change/add. However, it's so improbable that I know not to get my hopes up.
Give Pit an aerial spike.
We would send you all to the Underworld.

Doesn't he have an aerial spike? I think he got several.
Re: Super Smash Bros
He doesn't have any IIRC, however his glide attack is a good killing move.Trygve wrote:Doesn't he have an aerial spike? I think he got several.

Re: Super Smash Bros
I can understand people "dismantling" stuff like Pokemon, SSBB and the like.
I can enjoy a large pool of frame data and shit about various fighting games and stuff, so it would be kind of hypocritical if I didnt approve of people analyzing other games in a sort of similar fashion.

Re: Super Smash Bros
Actually, I have been subject to occasions where I've played against people who have insisted that any battle in Brawl played with items on 'doesn't count' because it 'takes less skill' to get a win than if you play the game 'on fair terms' (i.e. with no items) - and no matter how many times I've whupped their arses with items on they've never backed down from that belief.Le Great Handsome Oppressor wrote:...They don't force you to play with no items, Metaknight only, Smash Ville, do they?DoNotDelete wrote:Stop taking the fun out of my games already.
I have every right to judge and belittle people who fit the aforementioned mindset - because they and their friends create a little bubble for themselves where they manipulate the game into a form which they can win at - and pretend that 'it's the way the game is supposed to be played anyway' - and then they come into my house and try to impose their way of playing onto me - belittling the way I choose to play - which is more in keeping with how Brawl was created to be played!Le Great Handsome Oppressor wrote:You have no right to judge them and belittle them.
Maybe you've had better experiences with people who subscribe to the 'no items' way of playing but I've had to deal with some real fucktards - and anyone who ever comes out with the 'no items' thing these days just make me roll my eyes SO. HARD.

Re: Super Smash Bros
DND, I think you've just had a bad experience with a couple of assholes. You shouldn't discriminate against the entire competitive community because of that.
