I play well with heavy characters, so I really like how Ike plays and I think he's a good character. That being said, I will admit that his bulkiness can really be a weakness, especially when playing against the faster characters. It takes an extraordinary amount of time to get off a smash + A attack most of the time, so on the ground he's pretty vunerable. I like his arial moves though, and his specials help to balance out his speed.

There was this one game meet thing in my town for Brawl once that I went with my friend to. I destroyed everyone. I think there was one match that I got 18 kills or something ridiculous. Bitches don't know 'bout my Luigi.

There are no opinions since we're talking about facts. The tier list isn't some arbitrary, quickly-made list - it's three years of work, of match-ups analysis, of tournament results, of time spent playing and dissecting the game. Ike's place can of course change over the time, as it did before, and maybe in a year or so he'll go up the list a bit, but with the data the community gathered up to this point, it's pretty clear that Ike isn't overpowered. He's not useless, he's not weak, but he's definitely not amongst the strongest characters in the game.

I can understand that you'd have trouble with Ike though, I myself have a lot of trouble fighting against Pokemon Trainer who is also far from overpowered.

Ike is EXCELLENT against anyone who doesn't dodge well. If you can dodge at all you can dodge Ike. He's real slow.

I dunno how much you play Brawl Word, but do you play it often enough to be fast or even average at dodging? Because maybe that's why he seems OP to you. I used to have trouble with him too before I practiced more. Actually he'd probably kick my booty now since I haven't played in months.

I feel like playing Brawl now. Last time I played I got beaten pretty badly because I didn't remember any of Luigi's moves or how to use them.

So do I actually.

It'd be cool if we could organise a 4 person game

On the subject of Ike:

I used to find him the best player, but if you put him against three quick characters in a small stage he is doomed for sure.
He is particularly bad at the Ice Climbers stage, where he will die EVERY TIME because of the fish.

He is a pretty solid character, yes, but not overpowered i think, you just have to be careful not to be caught by a charged sidesmashes.

On the subject of MetaKnight:

As powerful as he may be, i always beat him when i use Mr.Game and Watch
My bro mains MK and samus, he is really good with them, so fighting a good MK is common to me.
I find the UP+B to be the most unfair, THAT KNOCKBACK.

But yeahhh, Mr.G&W owns MK in my opinion. But that may be from my personal experience so mehh. (not starting a flame war here, i swear)
But then again, i find Ganondorf to be better than, say, Captain Falcon, Ness, Lucario or Wolf, so my opinion isn't really valid (i main Ganonderp)

I am terrible with Game & Watch, but I love playing as Samus in both of her forms. I'm surprisingly good with Zero Suit.

My bro likes playing with both forms too.
I absolutely HATE them XD
Missile, fuck, another missile interrupting my side smash, fuck, okay, i just have to resist, only 80% FUCKING CHARGE SHOT NOOOO
Somehow they both steal the smash ball EVERY TIME (somehow being projectiles or fucking whip stealing it on one hit)
And don't get me started at how annoying zero suit whip is T.T i hate herrrrr.

I tried playing as ZS Samus for a while, but I had trouble finishing opponents off.

My main is Wario, alt is TL. I'm working(or rather was, since I stopped playing) on my King Dedede and Lucas.

I really like Lucas for some reason, he's fun and challenging to play as.

My personal experience with Lucas is:
Abuse Up Smash, that thing does serious damage and has serious knockback
Use Side Smash regularly
mix a pkfire (side b) every once in a while.
When the smash balls appears use your pk thunder (up B), you will get it EVERY TIME.
As in, Lucas always gets the smash ball with his pk thunder.

(I would play with you, but seeing how i live in Argentina my connection is probably shit to play with someone from another country)

my favourite characters i remember were ROB, Snake and Kirby
Kirby, down Bing all day erryday
ROBs Final Smash was pretty awesome to be honest, it definitely got the job done
and Snake was just a badass, who else aims an RPG at their feet to blow people away
