But Charizard can triple jump. I don't see Emboar triple jumping any time soon.

I thought about that, and maybe they can just give the other fire starters greater jump distance.

Also the reason for making Ike less powerful is because he is cheap and way overpowered

The whole point of Super Smash Brothers was that it was one big free-for all between Nintendo characters. Having third party characters kinda ruins that.

Plus, the whole reason Brawl had third party characters was because Hideo Kojima basically begged Sakurai to include Snake in it, and once he agreed, it seemed kinda strange just to have one third-party character in the game, so they held a vote online for the second and Sonic won.

Now that Kojima got his wish and Snake was in Brawl, we have no reason to need third party characters anymore.

I think Third Party characters are great as long as they are actually on Nintendo consoles; Snake got his start there. Sonic, not so much, but he IS an incredibly popular character, and I have many fond memories of SA2B...Nintendo's relationship with third party companies is a large part of who Nintendo is as a whole. That's why I think we need to see a Capcom and Square representative next; those two have been with Nintendo a long time.

Not really, Metal Gear was an MSX2 game before being ported to the NES.

I want more third party characters, but I'm only really interested in seeing Capcom come on board for the next game (as an addition to Konami and Sega - Snake and Sonic need to stay too).

I have no problem with the inclusion of third-party characters! As long as they've appeared on a Nintendo console and we only get one per company, then that's just fine. Capcom definitely needed a rep, and I don't know much about other companies, but hey sure why not. Having just Sonic and Snake seemed kind of random...making it a trio would look nice. Namco would also be a good contender--I've always harbored a secret desire to get a Tales character in the fray.

Final smash, either a house drops on the level, or a bunch of balloons with bombs start floating over level and villager shoots slingshots at them to drop the bombs.

I wonder if the characters will be getting another new moveslot, like how how Melee gave us Side Specials and Brawl a Final Smash.

I don't know what other kind of special attack could be added! Maybe they could add a special throw, where if you grab someone and press B you can do something totally rad, but eh. It might also be cool if they give every character one extra special move, and that's the customization factor that the 3DS connectivity will allow.

Like, Mario has the four special moves he has right now (fireball, cape, super jump punch, fludd), but there's a fifth, like maybe the Spin Attack from Galaxy, and you could swap that for FLUDD if you wanted.

That would be really awesome, actually. I wish they would make the controls fully customizable like that, with different attacks but also different ways to assign them. That way if an attack didn't feel natural to you one way, you could make the B attack into the Down + B attack or whatever.
