Characters I'd like to see:

Shantae-A character from two Nintendo games barely anyone's ever heard of. Perfect chance to fill the role of Ness, Marth/Roy, and Pit from SSB64, SSBM, and SSBB respectively.

Zoroark-Not sure how the illusion thing will work out with this, but since he's basically this generation's Lucario, it's a pretty safe bet that this guy will make it in.

Ridley-Don't give me "He's too big!!!" They can easily scale him down to the size of Bowser or something. Kirby's only eight inches tall, yet he's more than half the size of Mario in the series. They can do that with Ridley.

AT LEAST one character from Capcom-Megaman is practically a must since so many people wanted him in the last game. But if I were to see two, I'd want to see either Ryu from Street Fighter or Amaterasu from Okami. Both have reasons they may not get in, though. Ryu is definitely iconic, but his special moves (Hadoken, Shoryuken, Tatsumasi Senpukyaku) seem a bit too much like Mario's. (Fireball, Super Jump Punch, Mario Tornado) (I actually think the developers did this purposely in the original Smash Bros.) Amaterasu is MUCH less iconic, but at least her moveset could likely be original. Oh, and Okamiden was exclusive to the DS, and I don't think Street Fighter ever had a Nintendo exclusive game. Except maybe a ton of toned down ports to the Game Boy or something.

One character from Square Enix-Either some Kingdom Hearts protagonist I've never heard of, or a character from Final Fantasy 1-6. No Cloud since he only appeared in CoM I believe.

One character from Suda51-Travis Touchdown. That's all I have to say.

And Wayward was the actual company that made it, not Capcom. Capcom simply published it.

How Zoroark would work:
Sort of like Kirby's power stealing, sort of like Samus and Zelda changing into tighter clothes, and sort of like Manaphy's Heart Swap.
A special move could be temporarily transforming into another player's character. Appearance, moves, everything changes. A downside could be that using the special move damages Zoroark, or it could be a Final Smash: Transform into another player or a random playable character, boost attack power by 500% or something.

But Zoroark is super gay

Iwata announced that both the 3DS and the WiiU will have SSB games. No other info though, so we're speculating to death.
