Because Nintendo is afraid there might be offensive stages, like stages in the shape of a PENIS or stuff like that.

Oh, right, yeah, there is that.

I think there should be an option for playing on created stages though, for those willing to run the risk.

I think so too, some custom stages are great. I've seen a few on AllisBrawl that were really inventive.

I once made a Space Invader into a stage.

I once turned Brawl's Target Practise Level 1 into a stage.

It took some time to K.O. people on it.

I made hundreds of Stage Editor stages.

Many were very entertaining.

The only good stages are the ones with spikes.

Spikes everywhere.

I like to make boxes with spikes for the roof, so players get permanently stuck. Although, in Coin matches it doesn't matter much.

...who here plays coin matches, anyway?

I made the spiked box stage specifically for coin matches, for the unlockable you get for collecting a certain number of coins. :v

It's interesting though because one time the stage GLITCHED. I was Toon Link and I was up against 3 CPUs: Captain Falcon, Ike, and Ice Climbers. The Ice Climbers got a Smash Ball and performed their iceberg final smash. I managed to avoid it but Ike and Falcon got SLAMMED and glitched OUT OF THE BOX only to fly off the screen.

When they respawned they were outside the box and just bounced on the spikes until their damage got high enough to send them flying.

...but other than that I never play coin matches. :U

Wow. I don't know how that could happen, though, because if you had a diagonal space for them to glitch through they's spawn on that at the beginning.

My cousin Seth and I made a level with a lot of spikes at one point, but the funny part was that player 2 or 3 would spawn in a gap with blocks on all sides.

Anyway... You know what I'd like to see?

A hack that overwrites Sonic and replaces him with Geno. Moveset and all. Mostly because:

A- Geno is pretty daisies cool
B- I can't play Sonic for beans. I mean, it took me 30 seconds to beat Target Test LV1 with him (compared to my best time, 15 seconds with Marth).

Even though I don't have a Wii (I was using my cousin's Wii while he was at my house), I still want to see this happen.

So in my school there is a place called the "senior lounge". It is for seniors only, obviously, and it has a tv, some chairs, a table, and a couch. Many seniors hang out there during their free periods, and sometimes watch movies on the tv. This year, though, one of the seniors came up with the brilliant idea of bringing a gamecube. They brought Melee with it, and just keep the gamecube there at all times, so any senior can play it whenever they want. Needless to say, I have been having a smashing time with the gamecube.

Pun intended

I only played Melee once, when this random pub had game consoles in their 'kid' zone.

I played as kirby.
