I haven't played Brawl in forever. >: Mainly because fighting people online is no fun without chat and I have no one irl to fight against.
arachnidsGrip wrote:EDIT: Wth, why does my post suddenly say daisies instead of d amn
Because the forum's wordfilter changes it to "daisies".

My friend is good at this game. I challenged him because he thought he was better then me. I schooled him with marth. We then had several rematches. Schooled him every time. Final match, my bro started playing. I schooled both of them. Marth = FAVE CHAR

I remember the days in melee when I would thunderspam with pikachu. Now I ridicule my older brother for doing that >:D
Also, for some reason they dont like the c-stick. Its fair game, its not like a cheat code or anything.

It's sort of cheap if you use it all the time instead of relying on your own skill.

Huh? I don't use it, but it's the exact same thing as manually doing it. I don't think it would make much of a difference.

What

It is part of the control scheme. I have no problem doing smashes with the control stick + attack, but why bother when you can easily access them via c? Also c aids me in using aerial attacks a lot.
In brawl, there's actually some use for switching the c-stick from smashes to specials (especially with Lucas, who is my favourite character) but I still prefer to have smashes on it.

Eh, I don't really trust myself well enough to actually mod my Wii and hack my Brawl without everything breaking down. :[
(Hahaha, you can't say

Hurr. Using the C-stick is way better if you wanna use a non-charged Smash.

Marth's my best character. Back in Melee I refused to be anyone but Pikachu, but one day I was cycling through characters whilst playing against my brother for whatever reason and discovered I was actually fairly good with him. And not long after I discovered AZ and started to like him even more.

This is me. In melee at one point I started also using Roy, but he wasnt in brawl so I tried marth and YES.
Also, pressing the c-stick doesnt make you automatically kill your opponent. It just makes you not have to press two buttons at once, which I prefer not to do.

I miss Brawl. My best character was Lucas for a while before I started using Toon Link.
The last time I played, my friend was trying to convince me Meta Knight sucks.
