53 days now.

Sakurai should just go ahead and rename it Super Smash Bros: Forever.

*sob*

I hope they put in some daisies good stuff for this extra month. It's probably balancing stuff, though. A few of the characters like Metaknight and Ike were overpowered and underpowered, respectively, during the first demo day, at least that's what I saw.

Now I have to go re-number my calender. Excuse me.

I doubt they would do anything with the game, other than make more copies of the game to keep up with the demand for release.

A week is not enough time for even balancing stuff.

At least Shiek looks awesome right? Not a surprise. What is surprising is that Shiek and Zelda share a final smash. Odd.

EDIT: By the way, your signature is awesome.

Yay! Shiek isn't a playable character by herself, but is still Shiek/Zelda. I was going to be annoyed if they took that out.

I hope Zelda is less overshadowed, though.

Who knows? I hope so. I enjoy killing things with the "shoes of death" (from many characters, Zelda included). So much so that the name entered for me on a friend's console is "Shoe."

Also, Brawl has been reviewed by the Japanese magazine Famitsu (spelling might be off). It scored a PERFECT 40/40. Too bad we have to wait another month!

On the Japanese site it says they're getting it January 31st.

So their version only got delayed a few days, whereas ours got delayed a month.

Why is it taking them over two months to... uh... translate it?

The delay is all marketing ploys. Japan only got a week delay because they aren't as huge as the US and Canada. They need to make us more copies to keep up with preorder demand. Also waiting for more Wiis to sell = more chances for Brawl to sell on the first day, and the following days. Giving themselves higher first day/week/month sales figures. It also gives them more time to advertise better.

Basically they are spitting on us hardcores to reel in the casuals, while going for the big ego boosting sales figures.

Ever think that the delay could be because of all the trophies they have, each one needing to be translated well?

...

Yeah, it's totally what was said four ish posts above me.
