But I thought BB's whole thing was that he spared the lives of his enemies so that they would join him, which is why Gray Fox hangs with him and not whatever happened in POOPS.

On the idea of not playing as Big Boss the whole way through

last i checked, MGS4 had big boss with both arms

and if V is awake

and we already have four snakes we know about...

BB has all his stuff in MGS4 because they reconstructed him using Liquid and Soludus for parts.
Remember that he has to be blown up and also aerosol/lighter'd to death before even MGS, so whatever he's got now is going to be gone anyway.

What I'm thinking is that by the time Mother Base explodes and (I assume) Phantom Pain begins, Big Boss is done playing Mr. Nice Guy. And I mean super-done. He had that speech about Outer Heaven at the end of Peace Walker, but it's probably the events of MGS5 that send him over the edgeturn him into Metal Gear 1 and 2 Big Boss. Like I said, I would love to see Big Boss fully become a villain in this game. I mean for Christ's sake, Zanzibar Land in Metal Gear 2 was a place that Big Boss took war orphans so that he could train them to become soldiers when they grew up. I don't think that kind of stuff could be faked by the Patriots. Chico was one kid, but this time BB is bringing the war orphans in by the truckload. Sniper Wolf also specifically said that Big Boss "saved" her. So, he went over to Iraq and found her one day at random and said "Hey kid, those Gurkhas taught you pretty good, why don't you come to Outer Heaven so that I can teach you how to kill tons of dudes even though you're probably 10 years old?"

All in all I just want to cut loose again in an MGS game before the series is over. I got sick and tired of Peace Walker giving me so many guns but forcing me to use so few of them if I want an S-Rank.

Jetstream was insanely awesome and fun to play. Just wish it was a bit longer/there was more to do with Sam.

Also I wish this game had like a practice mode that threw dummys into a VR space that you could practice combos and stuff on.

Blade Wolf DLC info:
http://www.konami.jp/mgr/jp/information/130426-01.html

Spoilers, of course. Also It's in Japanese so if you can't read that you'll just have to settle for pretty pictures.

Got and beat the Blade Wolf DLC today.

I must say playing as Blade Wolf is fun as shit, but the chapter was even shorter than Jetstream and was just over WAAAAAAAY too quickly.

PREPARE YOUR BODIES

This pretty much solves my problem of when to buy MGR:R. I'm hoping it'll be 40€ and come with the DLC, like Dark Souls.

So Keifer Sutherland is the new Snake. It looks like he puts in a decent performance but his interview doesn't make it seem like he really knows much of anything about the game (and I always loved Hayter for playing the games and being dedicated to the series). I'm curious to see how he looks in footage with actual dialogue.

So did they say anything about MGSV for PC?

They said nothing new about the actual game, just the voice and motion capture. So not yet at least.

Jeez man, some people seem really salty over the new voice.

Like, I understand why Hayter himself would be upset, but some people are really losing it.

Seems this could also be another bit of misdirection on Kojima's part. He never specifically states that Sutherland is Snake's new voice. I've no doubt Sutherland will be a leading role in MGSV, but I'm not too sure about him being Snake. I'm personally still holding out for Richard Doyle to be revealed as the voice of Snake.
