Video Game Sales
Re: Video Game Sales
Yeah, I should have mentioned that. If you're gonna buy something that isn't a flash or daily deal, hold off until the last day of the sale.

The steam code also works for GOG, Projekt RED's distribution system. So you can have a backup or if you prefer drm free stuff.RikuKyuutu wrote:I caved and bought the revamped versions of Witcher and Witcher 2. For the princely sum of just under nine dollars.

Re: Video Game Sales
The GOG versions are actually superior because they come with a crapton of extra goodies like the soundtrack.

Re: Video Game Sales
It just keeps telling me system requirements not met. I can't figure out how to fix that.
Re: Video Game Sales
I'm loving Anno 2070 so far.
It looks gorgeous, too bad I can only just run it on minimum settings.

Re: Video Game Sales
Never mind, got it.
EDIT: Oh dammit, now I can't find the soundtrack files I was supposed to get. well, for the first one, anyway. Aaaaaaaaah whyyyyyy.
Maybe I'll just redownload it and see what happens.

They're in the game installation folder along with the making of videos.RikuKyuutu wrote:Never mind, got it.

Re: Video Game Sales
I dunno. I couldn't find them anywhere on my computer. So I just downloaded them off of a backup on gog.
Re: Video Game Sales
Human Revolution is only $3 for a flash sale and I don't even have that much in my account since I haven't been paid yet. Though there is the question of whether or not I can wait until the winter sale considering how much of a backlog I already have.
Stuff goes here later.
((I voted for roller coasters))
How on earth am I supposed to choose between these three simulation games?

Re: Video Game Sales
if a game was once -75% off and i missed the daily deal is there a chance it'd go back down to -75% again? i.e. i should've bought the walking dead. It's at -50% now so if it doesn't reduce again it's not that bad but even still
