How people in Fire Emblem manage to get items from enemy units they've defeated while hitting them with extremely long-ranged weaponry, like Ballistae/Eclipse/Purge/Bolting/Meteor/Blizzard.

When Leon kills a Villager in Resident Evil 4, said Villager drops a box of shotgun ammo. Leon questions this phenomenon. Later on, he sees a villager get ready for the day by stuffing various gun ammos into his pockets.

Leon goes upstairs in one of the houses in the village and interrupts one of the villagers doing whatever (she can get creative for that part). The villager starts reaching for the shutgun that's on the wall, but stops halfway through and grabs a knife instead. Leon grabs the shotgun and shoots the villager with it.

and then draw a comic on the matter

Ooh, ooh, I got one! Okay, you know how in Zelda Link to the Past you meet a fairy that'll grant any wish in the world for every 100 rupees you donate? And the only thing - the only thing Link wants is the magical ability to carry an arbitrary additional amount of arrows and bombs on him? I bet there's some humor in there.

Would be weird if it hadn't been done before by someone somewhere, but still.

Actually, if I recall correctly, she was at the Fountain of Happiness. The bomb/arrow thing was one of the few ways she could increase Link's happiness.

Though it'd be amusing if she COULD defeat Ganondorf and even restore the world.... but you needed a LOT of rupees to do it. (i.e. well above the maximum limit)

Of course, a different sort of twist would be that if you'd maxed out bombs and arrows, she'd give you a number of fairies to follow you, ostensibly to make sure you're always at full health.
