I'd be willing to believe that. It makes sense for a girl running a webcomic, but... no offense to her, but I don't think you take calculus in an art course.

If it was a design course maybe....meh no big deal.

Its called general education requirements dude. Yeah most artsy students might try to take easy math classes but shes prob a dork and scored past trig or somethin.

I think the connection and joke can still be made because its still people with captured animals fighting other captured animals in brutal horribly injuring fights that take away all their "hit points".

I wonder what happens when a human loses their equivalent of hit points?!

also, add funny faces, and you have comedy

It could be funny:

"Katie at the beach" wearing her regular clothes, playing pokemon, etc.
"Katie trying on bras" changing her characters chest equipment in WoW...

"Katie getting her hair done" Walks past super cuts to go to game stop, why these shops are just about always side by side is beyond me... at least here in hawaii... i need a haircut...
