I like the Story, The magic system, a lot of the characters (I would go gay for Lucien).
All people look at is the bad A.I. and comparatively bad combat system.

Pokemon Comic Idea-
Panel 1: Katie is walking into the PokeMart with her Pokemon behind her, but the Pokemon can't be seen.
Panel 2: Astonished and scared expressions on everyone nearby are shown while Katie looks nonchalant, and continues shopping. The Pokemon is still unseen.
Panel 3: Katie (With a bored face) is at the counter asking how much it is for whatever item she's getting, and looming behind her is Entei.

I had an idea like that, except it involved Steelix and incredible property destruction.

Pokemon Fitness Program
Trainer runs through generic town.
Trainer turns around with an annoyed look on his/her face: "Son of a..."
Trainer seen walking/running back an incredibly long distance.
Trainer arrives to see a Snorlax leaning against a rock looking completely exhausted and wearing a headband and sweat bands.
Trainer holds up Pokeball: "Just get in." Snorlax has an overjoyed look on his face.
Here's the question I'm posing in this idea: Why the hell is a half-ton obese pokemon able to run along behind the trainer! If you've gotten far enough in HeartGold or SoulSilver to catch the Snorlax, you'll see how funny it is.

That actually happened to me like three times an hour ago. Usually as I was trying to be incognito and sneak past a Rocket... Amazingly deaf they are not to hear you and all.
