^man, i can't compete with that! But i've got a wierd fact to scrutenise: how come in pokemon, trainers pay you no matter who they are? like, after defeating cyrus, a man who wants to rebuild the universe, he STILL pays you after he's defeated. I wonder what happens if they don't? Do they become the trainers new bitch or something? Remember kiddies: Keep your pimp hand strong!
i'm new here! if you got any art tips or inspiring words of wisdom, just pm me!

I don't think it was actually canonically explained where the cheddar comes from, and just that people thought it came from the other trainer themselves.
Well, while this is just a theory and not actual fact, I'd guess it might, might have something to do with the fact that the Pokemon isn't there to get hit by it anymore.Alexandy13 wrote:Also: Why does almost every attack miss when a pokemon uses Fly.
Take flamethrower for exmple.

I think I prefer Scott's idea as for how we get the cheddar.
Man, I loved this comic.
I don't think I remember correctly, but besides those "never miss" attacks, I think there were others that hit even when the pokemon was using fly, right? If I recall correctly, thunder was one of them.

But there are some attacks that do hit, right?Plasma wrote:Well, while this is just a theory and not actual fact, I'd guess it might, might have something to do with the fact that the Pokemon isn't there to get hit by it anymore.Alexandy13 wrote:Also: Why does almost every attack miss when a pokemon uses Fly.

Isaac and some friend of his do something neat, then they go make a high-five and Isaac's hand (that attack that he has on Brawl as the assist trophy) pushes the other one real far. Like, into an Abyss.Nightduck wrote:I would really love to see a Golden Sun joke.
Okay somebody think of the joke now.
Yeah, I don't even know. This was the first thing that popped in my mind.

Have you played the series?Riodsey wrote:Isaac and some friend of his do something neat, then they go make a high-five and Isaac's hand (that attack that he has on Brawl as the assist trophy) pushes the other one real far. Yeah, I don't even know. This was the first thing that popped in my mind.
Aww whatever..
The move is Move
Its a earth psy ability that he uses in the game to move pillars and other things.
But I like your idea
I can see them now.
All 12 of them standing there on the lighthouse
(Felix, Sheba, Issac, Garet, Mia, Ivan, Kraden, Piers, Jenna, and the 3 parents)
And one runs up and is like "We did it we lit the lighthouses the world is going to live!" "YEAH!" "High Five!" And then Issac, Garret, or Felix uses move on accident and one of those guys falls into the fire lighthouses beacon.
Awkward exchanging of looks and then somebody going "Okay lets head back to Vale now..."
Yup, I never played any game of the series.
But I know I should :<

Move is actually a Mars Psi. Technically it's Fire element. I have no freakin' idea why, either.
And, I second the motion. I'd love to see some GS jokes.
Maybe something crude like a clever Ivan using Reveal to peek at Mia's skivvies, or Isaac using Lift on her skirt.
Maybe something having to do with a character hiding a Djinn in a particularly awkward place on their body? (Reminds me of an official image of the game...)
Something. Anything.

Plus, he had an embarassed look on his face, and Garret was kinda glaring at him. I never really understood what was supposed to be going on in that picture.Nightduck wrote:My bad haven't played it in so long!
Yeah the Djinn in that picture were all oozing over Issac in a sort of perverted way.
Now I gotta see if I can find it to give everyone else not familiar with GS an idea of what we're talking about...
