I don't have a problem with new posters - I welcome all newcomers with an open mind and allow for a few first-post fumbles...

...but if a new poster starts berating long-term members (who have a perfect understanding of forum decorum and aren't looking for trouble), then I'll step in. Don't get me wrong though - if a long-term member starts talking crap I'll tell them their breath stinks!

I post images so often because that's how my brain works (images convey thoughts and feelings more effectively than just words - and images come to my mind before the words do).

Nice comic BTW, I'm flattered that I somehow seem to be becoming some sort of recognised celebrity around here. You do, however, portray all new posters as innocents with only the best of intentions...

lol no I do see where you're coming from. I drew this to be a jerk, but am impressed by the responses people have given in rebuttal. There probably is a fair few first post jackasses out there.

But being a first time poster really does seem to be a handicap around here. Jackasses or not, new people making opposing or standout-y comments or purely mistakes (ie 'blue flute' guy) seem to be met with a torrent of abuse. It hardly makes for the friendliest imagery.

The comic really is just about the impression that I often get when in the AW forum. It wasnt meant to be aimed at you exactly: you just happened to be the unfortunate scapegoat ...
... ok maybe it was aimed at you a little :T

I know of 'Solidus Snake' (wharever the Hell 'solidus' means). Not sure about all the other forms of matter (which I can't remember - amorphous solid, plasma, etc.).

However, there is a 'Naked Snake'.

I didn't make that last one up.
