How about a Stafy comic in general because I really don't understand what he's meant to do besides make all of my playgroup scream "STAFY!!!" and do a dogpile on the poor guy while we try to murder him.

Also something about Mr. Saturn because seriously tiny naked man with a bow? What. (Incidentally item switch to nothing but high drop-rate Mr. Saturns gets pretty distressing pretty fast.)

Apply that to some familiar videogame characters and some Pokemon which vaguely resemble them (you could 'borrow' the Linebeck/Luxio idea as a starting point).

The punchline could turn that on its head - rather than the Pokemon taking on the appearance of the owner, the owner takes on the appearance of the Pokemon.

Pokemon/game character lookalikes (if only close approximations).

Linebeck = Luxio
Super Mario = Probopass
Link (or Toon Link) = Leafeon
Captain Falcon = Groudon (a Pokemon with a helmet/Capt. Falcon eyes)
Luigi = Lombre (give the Pokemon a Luigi moustache)
Zelda = Milotic
Meta Knight = Squirtle (in shell/withdrawn)

I put Linebeck/Luxio in there to show you how much the artist who did that piece of art had to edit the Luxio's features.

I'll try to think of some more.

I updated that earlier post BTW - adding some more ideas I had, plus a quick collage of the characters and their Pokemon lookalikes.

I'm not so sure about Link resembling Leafeon anymore.

Holy crap; I never really realized how much Linebeck and Luxio look alike.

Anyway, I think Katie's going to keep doing WoW comics for awhile, so there's no point in coming up with ideas at the moment.
