The Pokemon manga is not canon. I've had people criticise my own Pokemon comics because they don't follow Pokemon manga canon and it's just retarded.

I generally consider the Pokemon Manga to be the most internally consistent and complete canon of the Pokemon Universe

Of course, there's no obligation for your comic to follow any particular canon. But the fact that some retard thought that it should, does not make the Pokemon Manga any less canon.

I recommend reading the Manga *nods* It is completely disconnected from the Anime; nothing in common at all. It's also regarded by the creator of Pokemon as the most accurate version of the universe he had in mind when he created the concept for the games.

It really is very good.

That doesn't happen in the game, obviously. Personally, I didn't think this comic was that funny, but I love seeing all the parody comics (especially ones with Katie's dad).

all i was saying is that the manga isn't completely canon as it isn't made by the creators of pokemon and i hardly think they went back and forth making sure everything fits perfectly. it is very, very close though, and i mentioned that.
