What is this new multiple system thing? The idiots of the internet weren't going on about that a few days ago.

It's been a thing since at least like, June.

Basically, multiple systems are people who have multiple people inside them. Some say it's related to things like Multiple Personality Syndrome, others say it's something to do with their souls...

Really, even if you're on the fence about Otherkin, these people are just on a whole other level (MPS is a legitmate thing, but so rare that the amount of people "affected" doesn't add up. Plus they refuse to get tested generally, so...).

I remember one claimed to be a multiple system of themself, Gamzee, the planet Pluto, and the Andromeda Galaxy.

I just, I want to hear a psychologist's opinion on these people.

Psychologists don't exist on the internet.

It violates everything they believe.

Like any sane person's opinion, the psychologist would say:

I did it! I don’t look completely Asian, but it really helps with the dysphoria to be able to change my features. I wholly endorse racial editing if you are a transethnic, but it may be an issue if you are a transethnic who wants lighter or darker skin. Or maybe not, I’m not really sure how that would work.

As forgiving I am of otherkin, "transethnic" is just stupid as hell.

If any psychologist tried to talk sense to a SJW they'd get blocked, reported, and there would be new terms and identifications for people who use logic and have degrees.

Also, that transethnic thing is super dumb. Though could it be argued that it is kind of the same as transgender? I mean, it's certainly more ridiculous, but if they truely picture themselves as another ethnicity is it so much more different?

Except ethnicity isn't always a race/looks thing, so "i made myself look xyz" is almost always pointless

Transgender is founded in medical science. Transethnic is stupid because it can only be one of two things. You see yourself as someone who should have a different culture, in which case join the freaking club. Culture is the most fluid thing since actual fluids. If it's about physical looks, well then you're arguing shenanigans over being one "type" of human being versus another.

Oh, also, turns out there aren't really any genetic differences between ethnicities either. There are more differences between a white guy, and a white woman, than an Asian guy and a White guy. A guy wanting to be a woman? That's plausible. A white chick wanting to be Asian? That's just redundant.

If no one talked about it, race wouldn't even be a thing.
