Re: Tips and tricks on getting the d: the girly thread for g
Ice pack. Though eventually the nerves will die from plucking.

@loli: Eyebrow threading! It's much less painful then plucking and waxing.

the hell is eyebrow threading

From Wiki:Queen Lolita wrote:the hell is eyebrow threading
In threading, a thin, twisted cotton thread specially designed for threading is rolled over untidy hairlines and other areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove an entire row of hair, resulting in an accurate and straighter line with desired shape.
Advantages cited for eyebrow threading, as opposed to eyebrow waxing, are that it provides more precise control in shaping eyebrows and is gentle on skin. Because a large area of hair is removed at once, it could be painful, though a Guardian columnist has declared[2] that when done professionally "with a cat's cradle of fine thread" it can be quick and painless.

Oh, wow, thank you so much! I probably could have Googled each individual tube thing, but I figured it would be easier to just ask on a forum. And sure glad I did. I was ready to use them like soaps! So thank you~Dire wrote:Okay, you got an eye cream, a moisturiser and a serum.
From what I understand you pat the eye cream around the eye pretty much following the eye socket. Don't rub it all over the eye (heard that for some people it makes their eyes puffy)
Moisturiser you just rub all over the face.
The serum is trickier. I've heard some women use it as a light moisturiser before bed. But then I found some specific instructions on your particular brand:
So there you have it.I read on a make up guidance forum that you should always apply serum immediately after toner, while your face is still damp from the toner, which I have been doing - then I wait for about 10 minutes before applying my moisturiser, which I finds just glides over the top beautifully.

That's okay. I had to use google too, but just for the serum really.
Honestly the best thing you can do for your skin (and the rest of your body) is to drink plenty of water and try and eat a lot of fruit and vegies.

Late but even though it's expensive, shampoo+conditioner+mousse combinations made specifically for people WITH curly hair are also really good at making your hair curlyQueen Lolita wrote:ugh what's a good way to get my hair curly without using a diffuser or a curling iron
is just spraying hairspray and mousse in it good enough?
Great Job!
