I've noticed that a lot of guys can't tell the difference between girls who don't wear makeup and girls who wear "natural" looking makeup to cover their imperfections and stuff.
And then they see them without said makeup and they're like whoa are you sick or something

Crisp doesn't wear any makeup and looks amazing.
And I'd bet most of you would too.

Makeup is fun and nice. Though, this thread lacks proper makeup tips so far.

Oooh oooh I do I do. I just don't put full makeup on all the time.
I don't really know how to explain the eyeliner part though. You just kind of draw it on. Like what do you mean by getting it everywhere, as opposed to what look. There are several different styles of eyeliner

for the most part when i'm putting on eyeliner i just put it in my water line because i'm shitty at putting it on the top lid. also always remember to wipe off your mascara on a tissue

Makeup is a myth

I know some, but it's hard to describe.
EDIT (now I have time to sit and think about it): What kinda eye liner are you using? Just a regular pencil?
Is your problem that you can't get a straight smooth line above the lashes? Since you usually line the water line I'm assuming that's your problem.
Keeping your pencil sharp is important so the line is finer and exactly where you want it. I put my finger at the corner of my eye and pull the skin to make it taught so the pencil doesn't catch and drag. That's usually enough to get a smooth line though sometimes I have to go back and dab at any gaps that were missed. I also only do this lightly and build up the line so I don't get blotches of eye liner.
If after all that it's still not smooth I just smudge it and clean it up with a cue tip. If you've managed to make a god awful mess just put a little moisturiser on the cue tip and 'erase' the excess.
Oh and sweet cheat: If the make up is for an evening out and you want to have an even dark smudge around your eyes, just line it heavily as evenly as you can, then take a shower. Excess should be washed off without all the effort. No need to be delicate. Note that I do mean that you'd wash your face. Otherwise it just looks like emo make up.

I think the last time I wore make-up was when I was about 5. You're lucky if you even see me with my hair combed.

Re: Tips and tricks on getting the d: the girly thread for g
can i be the saviour of this thread
um idk ok you should always try be careful with the make up you're wearing in regards to your clothing (note: that does not mean wear a blue dress and matching blue eyeliner, you typically want to avoid that). It means pretty much the opposite e.g. if you're wearing a green top you don't want green eye liner.
also be gentle on the blusher, you don't want to look like a clown. Seeing how different shades and colours work with your eye colour and hair colour can be good too (but once again be careful.) Moisturise to keep your skin dry, if you apply make up or w/e it goes cakey and horrible, do it lightly and gently in a room with good lighting. If you want a more natural look without spending ages just use a light mascara and lip gloss i suppose
this is just knowledge from living in a house with girls in and common sense really sorry if you know all of this already

It doesn't surprise me that Tales has the most make-up knowledge.
