First problem with that claim; you didn't reveal who you investigated and if they showed as innocent or guilty. You also didn't point out that there are indeed 2 "cops" (sherrifs, which you should have said but that's a nitpick), and whether your claim would require us to reveal the other cop and possibly try to check for which cop is telling the truth, if they have different results, etc.

Also, you seem pretty fucking desperate. I'm not taking away my lynch at all.

I investigated Sol first night and he was innocent.

Second night I got hooked.

If what he says is true, then he is our only chance at survival.
I will not vote for him today, but I need to vote for SOMEBODY.

Who had a backup idea?

A slim chance though. Guyperson was who he claimed to be, but his role might as well have been useless. However, if Flicky turns out to be the Naive Cop this may be the best thing to happen to town because the reports will be true from then on.

There's always a chance, whether it's a truth or a lie. The question is who's willing to make the gamble.

Flicky could be telling the truth, and if he was indeed hooked (possibly because the gang thinks he was a sheriff, though it could have been random chance), then it would be in the mafia's best interest to try to get him lynched today in a bandwagon.

However, he could also be lying and really mafia scum trying to get the sheriffs to out themselves.

Personally, I trust flicky at this moment. If he was sheriff on the verge of being lynched, I could see him being in the awkward position of trying to get the town and mafia from lynching him without playing his cards. With no healing role now, the mafia will likely try to get rid of him if the town doesn't. If they don't, he's more suspicious of being a liar.

Hopefully, if he's not the real sheriff, the real one will investigate him tonight. However, I think we should go on to lynch someone else tonight. If he really is mafia, we can get him later, if he isn't, then the mafia will either take care of him themselves (having to waste a kill on him), or we can get some use out of him to out some scum.

However, who to lynch instead is beyond me at this moment.

I have a feeling he isn't the sheriff. Thats the most imporant role of the game and outing yourself just makes you a mafioso target. I think he's lying.

I promise I'm telling the truth. Whether I'm the Naive cop or the real one, I have no idea. But the Mafia hooked me while I was going to investigate Noffletoff. With one investigation being innocent, I have no real reference of which Cop I am.

I swear if you guys lynch me I will Bus to the Future your booty.

I can't remember who it was, because it's 5:07 in the morning and I only skimmed, but someone brought up a good point.

Nefarious essentially won the game twice before. He's dangerous to even have around. The Mafia would more than likely go after him for just a random kill. Unless he was part of the mafia.

Then, when Flicky says he's the cop and it's getting to the point where he might not get lynched BAM in steps Nefarious, saying lynch Flicky.

It's very much like the first successful mafia, where I was the hooker. The second we thought we had a good target we made him seem like the worst person in the world, and stayed on course through the whole thing (that is, until it massively backfired and we thought the guy was the fool but that's not the point).

So, honestly, I feel like someone is trying to push Flicky's death forward as much as possible.

There's only one reason to want to kill someone who says they're the cop that vehemently, anyone townsided would hesitate and show that hesitation. Nefarious hasn't.

I don't trust that at all.

Lynch Nefarious.

Also typewith.me seems to be down now so I might not be able to start the night yet once a decision has been made.

And if he's on our side?
Galaxy Man wrote:The Mafia would more than likely go after him for just a random kill. Unless he was part of the mafia.
Or trying to be framed by mafia.
Galaxy Man wrote:Then, when Flicky says he's the cop and it's getting to the point where he might not get lynched BAM in steps Nefarious, saying lynch Flicky.
He wasn't the first to suggest it.

Perhaps that is what is happening... right now.
Galaxy Man wrote:So, honestly, I feel like someone is trying to push Flicky's death forward as much as possible.
Why would this be? If there are no protective roles, he would be gone tonight anyways. And if they found out that he was the Naive Sheriff, it would be a point in their favour to keep him alive to screw with the town.

Bear could just be fed up with waiting. Once a bandwagon reaches a certain point, there is no stopping it, and I have found it natural to at least try and speed it up.

LYNCH GALAXY MAN.

Okay this is ridiculous. Can one of the gang members write me a pm if typewith.me is working for them or not?

Flicky has at least laid claim to a role. Nefarious hasn't. At this point in time, I have to agree with what G-Man has pointed out and I'd really rather not risk losing a power role even if Flicky does end up being the Naive Sheriff. I like low risk. Lynching Nefarious seems to me to be a bigger chance of hitting mafia rather than town.

One thing I disagree with that G-Man pointed out is Nefarious being dangerous to have around because he won the game twice. While true, if he's Mafia, he's a threat. If he ends up being Town-sided, then we done fucked up by removing an asset from our team. But, like I said, I see Nefarious as being a lower risk of being a power role.

Lynch Nefarious Bear

Nebearious is indeed a lower risk, but I would rather not lynch either of them until I have real proof.

However, the only proof we will have will be whether or not one of them shows up DEAD tomorrow.
I will stick with Galaxy Man myself, if only because his response seems to be... off.
He could just be tired, though.
