My hair isn't usually that bad in the morning. Some days I'll wake up and it'll still pretty much be straight. It was amusing when I used to sleep with my ex (in the literal sense, not sexually) and he'd wake up in the morning with his hair all over the place and he had to spend ages in the bathroom trying to flatten it down with a damp cloth. :B
All I really do is put my hand behind my head and move my hair so I'm not lying on it and it's just lying out besides me instead. If I need to turn over in my sleep and I'm still mostly concious I'll just move it to the other side. I'm bad at explaining things and I dunno how effective it actually is but that's pretty much the gist of what I do.
...It has come to my attention that I've posted in this thread more frequently than I originally thought I would. ._.

I tend to take showers around 7 or so every night so before I go to bed I'll brush my hair completely back and not part it then put it into a ponytail. I've noticed that's more effective if my hair is a bit oily though, when it's been shampooed it seems to be all over the place but if I part it and sleep with it that way it sometimes comes out fine. Braiding it actually is worse for me since my hair is long and straight and it gets really lumpy when braided overnight. There's this one little section at the back left of my head though that is ALWAYS sticking up for some reason. It's like it has it's own mini parting there all the time and it's always screwing my hair up

Avoid bed head? Pfft not possible!
...of course I keep my hair super short anyway, so sleeping on it in any fashion just makes it stick out all weird...
I will agree, it was worse when it was long because my hair has so much natural curl to it, I HAD to wear it in a braid almost all the time :C
...gotta admit. The title thread threw me for a loop because I was expecting the Girl Talk band or w/e even though I don't know anything about them

Yeah I've not found a way to avoid bed head, though having longer hair seems to definitely help if your hair is straight. The only solution I know of is to wet it when you wake up and comb it and it usually will stay how you comb it. Or put styling product in it...or shower in the morning.

I have no idea who Girl Talk is but yesss the Amanda Show.
Lolita if you're looking to match completely I think this one works best. Unless you're trying to mix and match in which case I like the idea of light blue too
