Back in school I went to competitions for band, and the announcers always pronounced my last name (Shaulis) as Shoolis. When I tried to join the Gamefaqs forums (gratuitous laughter) I decided Shoolis would be my username and I stuck with it, though it has gotten slightly stale to me lately.

I used to roleplay with my childhood friend when we went to each others' houses and we would play superheroes. She and I came up with so many awful Mary Sues, haha...
Coriserai was one of my characters and she was a complete ditz. I'm not sure why I liked the name enough to keep using it.

Even though it seems one focuses primarily on the noun in my username, when I'm called "Runes" I feel so cool

First my name originated when I was trying to think of an approprete title for a character I was making up for a comic.

At the time I was reading a book in which had a chacter called The Oak Witch, so I just changed it to willow because willows are my favorite type of trees.

Instead of it being my characters name I just stole it for myself because it made me feel all kinds of cools.

I named everything "crazys_requiem" back in the day because I had just discovered what the word requiem meant and I thought it was cool. I still have an active email with that name.
