I used to have synesthesia, but then I took an-- ah forget it, that's overstayed its welcome.
So while we're on the topic of stuff, what does "The Game" look/feel/persona like?
Edit: Also
this

It's actually always felt like a sphere. Also the coloring is
The Game.

Am I right in assuming that the colours and personalities of letters are more like an extra sense rather than an overlay?

What do you mean? The colors appear in my head when I see the letters/numbers as a syn response. o.o

Here we see the rare synesthete try to explain his perceptions to a normal person. Let's watch...
I think there are temporary conditions, usually overblown and featured on House MD, that can grant you this superpower.
Is your twin identical, and how much so if yes?

My twin's a girl so...fraternal. Sorry.

Christmas gifts and birthday gifts are given half the effort from what I've heard.

We didn't usually have a home but we shared a tent when I was 12.

When we did have a home we did share rooms, but we only shared a bed until 8 or so. We did sleep on various floors in several mobile homes though.

Anywhere can be a home, A home is a state of mind, an abstract Idea, a house is four walls and a roof.
Homes are families. Houses are buildings
Does this make me a pessimist, or an optimist?

Then homelessness must have just been a state of mind.

Hey Wiffle, somehow I missed this thread. I should venture into the actual forum more I guess.
But my family has a history of synesthesia, grandfather saw sounds in colours, my father sees algebra as shapes, my sister sees every sound in distinction, and I can see a good amount of tones in colours as well as smells.
Been wondering if you see some similar colours in sounds.
One of my favourite voices is Johnny Mercer, soft browns like milk chocolate when he doesn't push it, kind of a yellow tinge on the trills, etc.

I thought I mentioned I don't like doing music requests.

I don't get very strong syn responses from music.
