Also, I have searched my whole computer with three different Anti-virus programs and none of them found anything- not from EasybitsGO nor anything else. As I mentioned before, the Skype admin says they were no danger, despite installing without consent.

I just love how everyone got so up in arms about it.

Microsoft hasn't even completly bought Skype yet, that'll probably take months.
But I do understand their concern, however, when they realise that a program they said no to still installed on their computer.
I mean, hey, I was worried too. I use Skype to keep contact with my friends in Ireland and England.

I was wondering what the fuck that was, haha.
I un-installed it after telling Skype not to automatically accept stuff, and as soon as I did Skype asked me if I wanted to download it again.
It seems like it wasn't a big deal, but thanks for the heads up.

They say they've disabled it now. Not like it would matter what you told it, since it installed anyway.

Yeah, I think I recall seeing the thing in the Skype folder months ago tbh.

It's been fairly benign since then anyway.

Skype says they'e had a partnership with EasybitsGO since 2006, so that's entirely possible.
