We really could use a better system for replacing organs than donors. Thank you science.

Re: Science is interesting
I thought artificial hearts were already in use? Or did I just watch a movie with that and then confused it with reality?
Re: Science is interesting
It was invented a while back but only now approved I think.
Stuff takes a while for safety testing because potentially dangerous.

Re: Science is interesting
Not necessarily. It could be possible to teleport in a similar fashion as a wormhole, by basically pinching space together at two points.

Yeah, but then its not teleportation anymore, its wormhole travel
Re: Science is interesting
I doubt you could get enough information out of an object to teleport it without having to tear it apart at the atomic level.
Since this is garbled English, please refer to the brutal attack of confusion.

Re: Science is interesting
Really, teleportation is moving from one place to another without actually traversing the physical space between them. That makes actual teleportation nigh impossible, even if you're broken up and then sent to a new location, you're still traversing the physical distance.TheStranger wrote:Yeah, but then its not teleportation anymore, its wormhole travel
So we kinda have to dumb down the definition a bit when talking about it.
Re: Science is interesting
If you were to go somewhere else in 0 time, wouldn't you by definition be in two places at once?

Hold on to your asses, assholders. Neil deGrasse Tyson is going to have a chance to prove he is truly the Carl Sagan of our time.

Isnt Carl Sagan the Carl Sagan of our time?
