People are easier to believe on bad things then good things. Even when they don't think it's true, it keeps nagging on them still. When someone gets delivered a good message they didn't expect, they won't believe it at first and sometimes you have to convince them. However, if they get delivered a bad message they didn't expect, it gets taken for real a lot faster.

People sure are a pessimisstic bunch.

This forum is actually one of my first real experiences with internet subculture. As in, I participated only in more juvenile forums before coming here, (since, yanno, I was a kid, with a very sheltered upbringing to boot) and I still do not use Tumblr, never been to 4chan, etc. In addition, I have not played many of the video games you guys refer to.

Wikipedia and I are good friends by this point.

On the other hand, though, this forum alone has proven to be highly educational by itself, as far as memes and stupid jokes go.
