I get quite unsettled very quickly whenever someone says something blatantly sexist towards women.

Makes me go all "Ugh, can you please NOT have that opinion."

I feel like my ability to tolerate/ignore people's prejudiced/uninformed opinions is dwindling rapidly.

I used to be able to sigh and move on but now I'm getting the all-consuming internet rage.

The only person who I can tolerate saying racist things would be my uncle, and that's because he's like eighty and used to teach at a school where certain students gave him shit.

I listen to way too many Space Jam remixes. I just kinda put on a Youtube playlist of em and have it play in the background for a couple hours.

I always find myself hoping and working to make things better by teaching people and being helpful. That's why I things would be getting better.

A noble endevour, but actually improving someone's mindset like that requires much more comprehensive education and experience, which is almost impossible to do over the Internet. Especially the kind of confrontational, stubborn kind of bigot that flourishes online. People like that need to actually be confronted with reality, and you cant really do that just by showing them stuff online.

Screw that noise. Terry. I believe in you. You can do it.
