I think challenging/subverting the stereotype would be not having a crew cut and five-o-clock shadow.

It was a big deal for me to be able to wear that shirt out in public, man; Don't shit all over that.

I'm not talking about the brony stereotype; I couldn't care less about that.

I've spent a lot of consideration in the past working on sustaining the illusion of being an average guy/blending into the crowd (in public); I'm only just becoming confident in breaking that trend in my thinking and being more comfortable with who I really am (in public).

Being your self means the only thing you gotta worry about in public are your manners. Everything else should just be you.

Wear what you like. So long as you aren't going out in the nuddy you'll be right.

Honestly if I want to go out in the nude I should be full well able to.

Laws are dumb.

The people who want to be in the nude are also the people no one ever wants to see in the nude. Or in a Speedo.

Also apparently the topless law can be circumvented by pasties, since it only applies to visible nipples.

It's a good thing the law is here to protect our virgin eyes from such horrors.
