Re: Confessions
Know what would be super fun? If people used spoiler tags. Also if they made clear what thing they were spoilering about.
I could be giving spoilers for your favourite series right now. But you wouldn't know because I didn't mention it before.

Re: Confessions
I think that'd be a pretty good idea, if you mentioned what you were spoilering, if anything.

Re: Confessions
I remember a let's player being like "empire=bad because empires are always evil in fiction, right?" I just watched and thought 'lolno'Galaxy Man wrote:skyrim at least forced you to kinda think about it
i mean NOW we all know the stormcloaks are the worst
but when the game came out everyone hated the empire because nobody had really delved into it yet
I mean at least with one of them in power the Thalmor's plans are going to pot and if you don't hate the Thalmor you might not be playing the same game.

are there people okay with the thalmor?
i don't think that's even an in game option in a game built around joining factions

caesar is basically post-apocalyptic hitler
Well, considering this conversation was started by someone who actively tries to be sympathetic to Caesar's Legion...

Except, you know, he isnt. At all. He PRETENDS he is and his followers go along with it, because he's the only one in the Legion who actually knows that Ancient Rome was like, but even they werent as bad as the Legion. About the only thing they got in common with Rome is slavery, everything else is just another warlord in the wasteland.Barabba wrote:Well duh, they totally can be hilarious in a video game.TheStranger wrote:Im guessing brutal slavery and murder is hilarious as long as you arent subject to itExeres wrote:Well, considering this conversation was started by someone who actively tries to be sympathetic to Caesar's Legion...

Re: Confessions
There is the crucifixions and arena combat and total war intimidations, but whatever. You're just looking at the "post-apocalyptic horde" aspect of the Legion without seeing how it could be similar to Ancient Rome.
And they certainly have a lot more in common with the Romans then they do with the Nazis. You're thinking about the Enclave on that one.
Confession: It was me who turned off my brother's alarm clock and made him late for work that one time, but I kept quiet about it and just let my brother blame my dad and yell at my dad for a while.

I love my friend but seriously, I'm at wits end with her.
I actually hope she strips because it is largely her fault we need cheddar so badly right now.

That's not a very healthy way of thinking.
