OK, did he actually do it, or is this another "guilt vs. alleged guilt" thing?

Technically it's always alleged until he's convicted, and even then conviction doesn't necessarily make it true, it just means that a group of people heard the evidence and decided the allegations were true.

I can't find any decent information about this guy or his crimes so I dunno. It is fucked up, whether he did it or not, that he hasn't actually even been tried yet. He's been in jail on-and-off for 12 years now, and still needs to be extradited to Georgia before anything can happen.

OK well then that I can agree with, he's definitely a dirtbag for avoiding trial (which doesn't really help his case), but I'd look like one big booty flip flopper if I decided the "innocent until proven guilty" thing didn't apply to someone just because he's a dirtbag.

If you can't get him on child molestation, get him on avoiding trial. We did make that illegal like any sane society would...right?

It's not that they "can't get him," there have just been extenuating circumstances prolonging the process. At one point he was injured during a fight in jail, and you know how slow the American justice system is these days.

Did you read the article? It should have all the info you need.

There's a storm just kind of sitting in the Gulf south of me, and there is speculation that it might develop into a tropical thing right there.

I have no idea who I'll be voting for in November. Probably Batman because both candidates are fucking terrible and both parties are actively engaged in smear campaigns rather than focusing on any kind of meaningful dialogue.

Because being a smartass to nobody at all will fix everything, right?

Come on, just vote for the one that doesn't actively hate part of the humans living on his planet.

Romney is definitely never getting my vote. I'll need to look more at Obama's platform before I decide whether or not to cast the vote in his favor or just vote for nobody, because I'm not too pop flyin' with some of the things he's been doing either.

I dislike being given two horrible options and being told I have to pick one because the other is worse. Fuck this two party system.

You could actually vote for a third-party candidate, instead of a fictional character. Similar likelihood of success, but at least then you won't waste your vote on a fucking joke.

From how popular third-party people are in this country I think people voting for Batman would be in the greater majority. I don't actually intend to vote for Batman though, that was just a joke because I have to be humorous when it comes to politics or I turn into a ball of seething rage.
