I don't think they ever found a body, no.

I know they found a jar of anti-freckle cream, the brand she used, on an island this spring. It looked like it had been broken and fashioned into a blade of some kind. Whether she or the guy with her did it, or if someone else was on the island, found the jar, and used it, we don't know. it's opened up the theory that she/he/they might have survived the crash and been stranded.

I think they decided that her and her copilot were most likely picked up by the Japanese before or during the Second World War, but never actually found her plane.

They found bones that matched her body type, a woman's shoe, an empty bottle, and a sextant (navigational equipment) with a serial number that matched the type Noonan, her copilot, used.

They found the bones in 1940 and the rest when they came searching sixty-odd years later at the site where the bones were found.

Apple is a shitty company with overpriced products, living purely on brand power.

I don't understand why so many people enjoy Apple products. I've used a few and they either weren't very useful or just rustled me off.

Their shit is so convoluted it's hilarious.

I still can't believe our math building bought solely macs 3 years ago. IN A BUDGET CRISIS.

But hey, obviously windows has no calculus programs, right?

It still amazes me that they managed to convince people they need an iPad.

My mom got an iPad that cost 900 dollars when there are so many different tablets out that cost one third or maybe even one fifth of that. It made me so bloody angry.

USADA is stripping Lance Armstrong of his seven Tour de France titles because he refuses to fight them in court any more.

This is just so wrong. I have to wonder what could possibly possess these people to hound someone in retirement who has passed hundreds of doping tests year after year and win after win. And because he's tired of spending all this time fighting those charges they're screeching that he's admitted his guilt and trying to take away his achievements.

But the Tour De France is a French competition. What does a US organization have to do with it?

He can't get more than 21 years. It is the maximum sentence in Norway. However, every 5 years from then he will be going through an evaluation. This evaluation will determine if he gets 5 more years in prison. This can theoretically go on forever.

I'm seriously sad right now. It's even sadder to know that he died with the thought that some people didn't think he went to the moon.
