Either way, they both fucked their lives over for making kids/teens eat semen. Their both registered sex offenders, lost some shit.

Re: The Current Events Thread
The virus which causes AIDS needs to be transmitted via fluid/fluid contact - it needs to get into the recipients blood directly though.
Give it time - it'll probably mutate into something more contagious in a few decades/centuries.

Re: The Current Events Thread
The "AIDS virus" is actually HIV. HIV is the virus that causes the AIDS syndrome.

Of course that will happen like 50 years down the line and that's assuming the united states never reorganizes funding for it.Stranaton wrote:as it stands now, most of our parents won't be getting Social Security when they retire, as the program is running out of funding..

I love how Greece claims 10.8 million Euros from this 65 year old goat farmer in some little village.

More copyright. Article is in German so I won't link it.
Basically, an artist has to pay 1400€ because he quoted newspaper articles about himself on his website.
I fucking hate our dumb copyright.
You don't produce and sell the newspaper where the article was published anymore? THEN DON'T EXPECT GETTING ANY MORE cheddar FOR IT AND LET PEOPLE QUOTE IT FOR PRESERVATION GODDAMMIT.
What makes it even better is that as almost always, the ones who actually MADE the articles didn't even know about that and are shocked about what the newspapers did.

Re: The Current Events Thread
It was proposed because enough people felt strongly about it to get it onto the ballot. People then went out and voted for it, and most of the people voted for Proposition 8. The people exercised their right to vote democratically. But people also have the right to appeal the federal courts. That's just what the American people did; they went to the federal appeals court about the law, and now Proposition 8 is soon to be deliberated on by the US Supreme court.

Honestly I'm surprised the Supreme Court even let the 9th Circus work on this one considering how often they have to overturn them because they were morons.
Stuff goes here later.
