Now, I'm not well versed in lawyer lingo and such, but this kinda seems wrongAs you know, we have been trying to buy Christmas presents for kids in the Regretsy community.
We took many applications, vetted them carefully and set about creating a giant gift exchange program, where you could buy a gift for the over 200 children we’re helping.
We raised so much cheddar that we found ourselves in a position of not just being able to send toys, but to send a monetary gift to the families as well. We hoped it might help them make their holiday dinners more special, or maybe pay a pressing bill.

Funny how they only did it AFTER Consumerist and Wall Street Journal turned their attention to them. Because they sure weren't polite when the actual owner of Regretsy was trying to work with them.
Stuff goes here later.

No one ever apologizes until they get called out in front of everyone.

That disturbs me.
Not because Paypal is a jerk, that was already apparent. Mainly because I never knew that Something Awful used to be a good website.
Burn 'em to shreds, tear 'em to ashes.

If you're experiencing an irresistible urge to punch this man in the face, that's normal.

Re: The Current Events Thread
As a native Texan, I've had the urge to punch him in the face ever since he took over for Bush when he left the Governor-position for the White House.
I'm a bit indifferent to Bush myself (like most politicians), but Perry...
I've yet to meet someone who actively LIKES Perry in this state. The only reason he gets re-elected is because you'd either have to vote for a "liberal bastard" or "a dope smoking hippie" to replace him with (which isn't sound logic, but none of his competition has actually been serious, and most kinda have had a "well, we might as well run SOMEONE on the ticket" or "I had nothing better to do, it'll be fun" feel to them, rather than seriously try to get him out of his seat).
On the one hand, I'd really fucking love for him to get out of this state, stupid statements that make Texans look bad notwithstanding (last spring he authorized spending taxpayer cheddar to fund a traditional rain dance (and asked Texans to pray for rain) due to the drought. This was when we were deciding which schools to close down because he refused to spend the rainy day fund to help keep them open. Guess where the rain dance cheddar came from?), but imagine how much more he'd fuck up as president, especially with as much tact as he has.
I really REALLY hope he doesn't make it to the candidacy. I cannot stand to see him in any position of power, and for him to be anywhere close to winning is enough to make my stomach turn.

Yeah, seems pretty stuck up. Also sounds like my grandmother.
That's not a good thing to sound like.

I would donate all of my cheddar for Texas to get term limits.
