[Dr. Walcott arrives at the docks. He parks his truck, gets out, and walks toward the pier. The ship with the medical supplies hasn't arrived yet. He decides to watch the waves until then.]
(The Caduceus Project has come a long way. DNA-neutral organs and O-Type blood cloning, it's really amazing. I remember when I first found out about it...)
[The doctor looks out on the ocean and recalls that day.]
[Walcott is back in the United States. This is 8 months after the incident in Baghdad. He truly wants to forget about it all. He's working at a hospital in Albany, New York. There has been an accident; the governor has been injured in a collision with an 18-wheeler. The hospital he's at right now is the one that responds. As the EMS gurney arrives, the doctor stares in shock. The governor is a bloody mess; broken bones, damaged organs, his face is drastically disfigured.]
[As the governor is being transported to the emergency room, Walcott sees a man rolling a large metal cart following them. The man is wearing a white suit with a black tie, and a set of gold pins decorate his lapel. (Who is this guy?) Walcott asks himself.]
[In the emergency room, the chief surgeon prepares her assistants and specialists. Dr. Walcott is supposed to be focusing on regular checkups, administering vaccines, stitching up patients, et cetera. However, the strange man in the white suit is much more interesting. As Walcott peers through the window, the chief surgeon nods in the strange man's direction. (She knows him? This is just weird.) The man opens the metal cart and pulls out several containers. Walcott knew from med-school that these were hermetically sealed containers used to transport organs. However, these containers are different. As an assistant opens the containers, he takes out body parts such as bones, muscles, and what looks like human skin.]
[Walcott feels sick. The sight of human skin and bones, the implication of where they came from, and the fact that they are being given to someone of high government standing, it all makes him feel sick and worried. Later, however, the suited man confronts Guy Walcott, and makes the young doctor an offer that seems too good to be true...]
[Walcott's mind moves back to the present day. It seems that the ship is coming over the horizon.]

((Most of this is Unbalanced's post, but I added in the thing about Jo's transformation.))
After cleaning his room, Andre went down to the cafeteria to find several others have began to eat. He orders his favourite of french toast with syrup, and sits down with the other students.
((Andre now knows the powers of all students at the table who are willing to tell. He's had a change of heart about the secrecy of his and has told everyone else of his transformation power.))
Jo overheard Andre discussing his power, and instantly interjected. "Woah, seriously? I've got the same power! What type of Were are you?"
"Actually, I'm half Were, half upstanding member of society," Andre informed her. "Both of my parents happened to be fennecs, though, so I guess I'm a Were-fennec-upstanding member of society."
"...Do you think you could show me?" Jo could get an idea since Andre was in his upstanding member of society form, but she was still curious. "I see you're a fox, but I've never actually heard of fennecs before."
"Oh, sure. Any excuse to show off," he joked. Andre looked at the others sitting next to him, and added, "be sure not to sit on me," getting a couple more laughs.
All of a sudden, as the others watched, Andre became smaller and smaller. His form started appearing as though he were hunched over, the quadruped shape taking control. Perhaps the oddest thing they would notice is that as his body became smaller, his fox ears stayed the same size. For a second those at the other end of the table couldn't see him anymore, but he suddenly leaped up on the table and sat down in canine fashion.
"Oh my god, that's adorable!" Jo exclaimed. Andre could also hear some others around him making a commotion about his fennec form. He flattened his large ears at the comments. Even though it was to be expected, he still was embarrassed every time.
"Hmm..." Jo pondered for a second, her hand on her chin. "Here, just a second. I'll join you.
Josephine brushed her hair back, and she started shrinking though not as small as Andre, and grew white fur. In a matter of seconds, she had transformed into a fluffy white dog, a Samoyed to be exact. Her wagging tail was curled up all to her back, and her mouth was open and smiling, in typical Samoyed fashion.
The previous "aaaw"-ing and little squeals of enjoyment suddenly repeated themselves. As for Jo and Andre, they decided to have a little chat in their new forms.
"I always love talking to other animals," said Andre. "Well, people who are animals, I mean. Nobody knows what we're saying." The fennec fox equivalent of a mischievous smile spread on his lips.
"You know, that guy was hitting on me," she said, gesturing to Will.
"Ew, really?"
"Ahh, it's fine. He's friendly enough. But hey, I've had enough of being a dog for now." With that, Jo turned back into a human, the process they just witnessed now reversing itself. Andre followed her example, though into his upstanding member of society form, leaving no animals in the cafeteria. At least, if the academy's health ratings are up to standard.

[The ship with the medical supplies is not that big. It's more similar in size to a common fishing trawler. One of the crew moors the boat to the deck, another crew member lowers the ship's steel gangplank. The cabin door opens, and a woman in a white business dress walks toward the gangplank. Dr. Walcott raises his voice a bit to talk to her over the mild wind and waves.]
"I don't think I'll ever understand why you guys wear your best suits for the wrong occasions!"
"The higher-ups take the dresscode very seriously!" [The lady responds with a laugh and a cheer in her voice.]
[The woman makes a motion to the crew to get the ship's cargo bay open. She's not the captain, but within the ranks of the company she is leagues above them. A hatch opens on deck, and a crewman heads toward the bridge to get the crane ready. The business woman makes her way down the gangplank and moves towards the doctor. Walcott greets her and asks,]
"So, any pirates? Sea Monsters? Pesky dolphins?" [He wouldn't speak in such a jovial manner if he did not know her.]
"Just uppity crew members drinking on the job. Told them I'd add their spleens to the shipment if they didn't stop." [She and the doctor share a laugh. Ms. Brunnson is an old acquaintance of Walcott's. He's worked with her in the past, back when he worked directly with the organization. Walcott worked in emergency logistics with Brunnson. They had to make sure that the right transplant parts made it to their destination as quick as possible. Sure, the business that they're in is under the radar, but all the people there are very nice.]
"I'm glad that you're keeping in touch with us, doctor. These adventurers that graduate from here do a lot of amazing work out in the world. They must be glad to have you fixing them up"
"Yeah, well, it's a really tough job. The students thank me, of course, but a lot of people don't understand the training it takes to be able to treat patients with superhuman or supernatural powers. They don't understand the dangers, either. This one student tried killed me while he was unconscious! I tell ya, I really wish I got hazard pay."
[The crewmen have finished loading the supplies onto the bed of Walcott's truck. The doctor sees this, and knows he's got to go.]
"Listen, I'm sorry, but I've gotta get these up to the academy real quick. You never know what kind of crazy stuff that the students pull while you aren't lookin'."
"Oh, I see. Well, good luck doctor, I hope you have a great semester!"
[She boards the ship, and the crewmen disembark.]
"Thanks, I'll be sure to mail ya!"

Lyra peeked her head out of the door to see Andre and some strange fur chatting it up. Her ears went back, and she retreated into her room once more. She sighed. "I guess that's what I get for being a bitch," she told herself. She should probably get dressed and eat some breakfast anyway. It seemed the entire academy was awake. Once she finished doing so, she stepped out all the way to find that everyone had gone. There seemed to be new missions on the board, and she padded up to see what the deal was.
Let's see... a scavenger hunt, beating people up, and... an underground scavenger hunt. Sort of. She saw Andre's name on the Holy Grail list. She made a face. Things would just be awkward if she chose that one. She scribbled "Lyra" underneath Helzek's mission, and noticed another name she didn't recognize. Is that all there is? I feel sorry for Helzek.
She trudged down to the cafeteria, pretty sure there wouldn't be anything good. To her surprise they had a wide variety of foods available, and they all actually looked edible, unlike usual school lunches. She ordered hash browns and walked around with her tray for a bit. Everyone seemed to be gathering at one table, and Andre was showing off his fennec form, along with... a dog? She blinked, and they changed back. Oh. It was that girl she had hit with the pillow that morning.
She sat down at an empty table and commenced eating alone.

"It's sort of more like I just take over them, especially when they're animals. They do think, though, but they don't seem to have wants for anything, or mind me taking over. Kind of an impulsive buzz that I can almost hear, but not really. Don't trust cupids, though. I almost shot my own eye out once," Charlie was lost in thought for the moment. "It's also a little overwhelming, when the statue's really big, or when there's lots of them."
"I can understand that happening," Reina said. "By the way, it's getting a little dark out here. Do you think we should go back in, or keep looking?"
"We ought to go back. There's plenty of time tomorrow or whatever time we get back here to check it out. Heh, with all the statues and plants here, I bet we could make a hangout of this place. Say, how do you go through the woods so fast?" Charlie took off his accordion and held it at his side again. He strode back to where they had come in.
"The plants tell me where I can step without squashing any of them. Or they move out of the way, I guess. It's nothing special," Reina followed after him, and the two of them quickly made their way back to the building.

Wyrm watched the group of students from the hallway. One turned into a tiny fox thing, the other one he met last night turned into a dog. He felt very uncomfortable all of a sudden. His whole life he was taught to stay away from these substandard creatures. They weren't human.
Another fur was walking towards the board. He ducked out of the way, clumsily clanking his shovel on the stone walls.
((I assume Lyra is in fur form, if not I'll edit post.))

[Dr. Walcott turns the ignition on his truck and drives back toward the academy. (I really hope that I can get all of these organs and blood packs to fit in the cafeteria freezer.) The doctor hits play on the truck's tape deck and continues driving.]

((Whoops, Sorry, BoN. Got stuff goin' on." ))
They approached the door. Reina turned to face Charlie. She'd had a fun day with him. She assumed that he thought the same.
"Ah, well, I'mma go to bed, kay? I guess I'll see you tomorrow morning, yeah?" Reina asked Charlie without really waiting for an answer. With that she ran toward her room, Spike still in tow, giggling to him about something.
Reina awoke the next morning and went through her usual routine of getting dressed, quickly brushing her short hair and then went into the cafeteria for breakfast. Maybe she would see Charlie again! She grabbed Spike, put him in the shoulder bag, and left the room.
When she got to the cafeteria, the first thing she saw was a group of people all together, and they appeared to be part animal. That was...weird. Then again, she talked to plants, so pot and kettle.
She looked for any food she could get her hands on and then sat down at a table where no one else was yet. She was okay with it. She wouldn't turn company away, but she kind of liked getting to be alone with Spike for a few minutes.

[Walcott pulls up to the academy and parks his truck. He grabs the luggage dolly from just inside the door, and loads the containers onto it one by one. Luckily the cafeteria has a back entrance for deliveries. The doctor rolls the dolly to the back entrance and opens the cafeteria's back door, then enters the freezer with the organs and blood. Walcott neatly stacks the organs and places the blood on a shelf next to them.]
[The doctor exits the freezer the way he entered, places the dolly back inside the door, and walks towards the entrance, to the infirmary. Once there, Dr. Walcott sits in his office chair and leans back, ready to get some well deserved sleep.]
(I'll be taking a break from the RP until the next mission is complete and my character has to treat the injured, or if someone's character needs medical attention. PM me if that happens.)

"Well, it's been nice meeting you Andre, but Daron, Martin and I are going to run a few laps around the academy, then we're gonna check out the mission board. You can join us if you want..." Josephine offered the fennec boy. "Ooh, or maybe we could play frisbee. I even brought one with me!" She grew excited thinking about it.

"Well, you guys have fun with your running, I'll see you later." Paku said, getting up to put his tray up. He walked out of the cafeteria, and towards the message board. Along the way, he saw Wyrm, who appeared to be trying to hide. "Hey Wyrm, did you check out the missions yet?"

Mako's eyes slowly creeped open as the sunlight filtered straight through his stubby eyelashes. He rubbed his eyes and rolled out of bed, not shocked to see that he had fallen asleep in the exact sma ething he wore the night before, he figured it was best to change before going out, Don't want to look too much like a slob, he thought to himself while he shuffled his feet towards his dresser.
A few minutes and several scrubs later, Mako emerged from his dorm dressed in his usual teal t-shirt & brown jeans, but he also dawned a brown, open jacket, a pair of acual shoes, green in colour, and a light green scarf, a good luck charm of his. Mako ventured down the hall to the familer mission board to see what was happening, indeed, he saw three new missions up for grabs, Desisions, desisions, hunting for one shiny thing, hunting for several shiny things, or knocking a few teeth out, Mako pondered over the three missions, Well, some time in the city sounds nice, buuuuuuuut, Mako brought a pen over the the undergound expedition sign-up sheet, if I've learned anything from dad, it's that everything's more fun the closer to hell you are, his finished this thought with a smile has the curled the last 'a' in his name, right under two other names.
Mako's stomach soon lead him to the cafateria and it wasn't long before he had piled on several breakfast foods along with some lunch foods and a glass of orange juice on a tray and was looking for a seat, he looked over at some commotion between some girl and one of the students who had past him last night. Mako decided not to try and barge in as his eyes slid over to another student from last night, another girl, another fur, she was cute, and alone, Score! Mako rejoiced in his thoughts as he walked up beside the lone fur, "Excuse me, this seat taken?" he asked, gesturing to the seat across from her.
