Right after she answered, a cat fur girl threw a pillow square in Josephine's face. Jo faced the cat-girl who stomped towards her to pick up the pillow and gave our weredog a glare. "Uh..." She managed to say, still startled, as the cat-girl walked back to her room.
"Well then, yeah, let's go, um, get breakfast," she said to the three, after the odd encounter.

"Awesome!" Paku said, starting the walk towards the cafeteria. They walked through the halls, and arrived at the cafeteria. The smell of breakfast cooking was in the air, so they walked up to the counter.
Paku ordered three crepes, wanting to start the day off right. He also ordered a yoo-hoo, and some sausages. He also ordered some hot tea for after the meal.
Josephine got turkey bacon, grapefruit, orange juice, fried eggs, and hot tea.
Daron got fruity pancakes, sausages, and hot tea.
They received their food, and sat down at the tables, digging into their food.
While everyone sat at the table, a young man strolled up to them, sat next to Josephine and started talking to Martin. Josephine paid little attention until he until he turned to her, winked and said "And what's your name, beautiful?"
"Uh?" Josephine set down the glass of orange juice she was drinking from, and looked at him. "Oh, I'm Josephine Altamilla. And who...?" She said, rather oblivious to his attempts. Paku raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything. Josephine was not exactly used to being called beautiful while in exercise clothes and with her hair up in a ponytail.
Daron chuckled a little as he saw Will crash and burn. He looked at Josephine and said to her, "Well, he's not off, you do look rather nice even in that exercise outfit." Then, he gave her a smile to show that he wasn't trying to hit on her, he was just trying to be nice.

[Dr. Walcott is awake; he stayed up all night. He had taken a lot of naps the previous day, so it was no problem to browse the Internet while Daron recovered.]
[The doctor gives Daron a slight nod as the patient leaves the infirmary. Walcott notices some new documents on his desk. New student files, it seems. Walcott reads through the first one.]
"Marina, hmm. A Felis Sapiens with a snow-leopard appearance. I have never seen an anthro-morph with that species' likeness before."

Paku shrugged off Will's obvious attempt at hitting on Jo, and continued eating his crepes. He finished off the first one quickly, and opened his yoo-hoo, taking a sip. "So... what do you guys think the next missions will be? I hope we have a few days between missions to rest, recuperate, and relax. Plus, I need to fix up those dents and bangs ROB has." Paku said.
"Ooh, I dunno, I'll be fine as long as I can use my powers for the next one, 'specially if I can fight something that is organic in nature, and not a robot," Josephine answered, finishing up her grapefruit. She started sipping her tea, the last part of her breakfast.
Andre was about to go back to his room when he saw somebody new; somebody who just so happened to be a upstanding member of society like him. The situation reminded Andre a little of the first time he met Lyra at the sign-up sheet just yesterday. His mood soured a little at the memory of their current state of "friendship", but he put the thought aside and went to introduce himself to this new girl.
"Hey, are you new here, or did I miss you yesterday?"
"Yes, I just got here. Too bad, I could have caught up to you guys in points if I had been here earlier."
"Nah, I don't think it's any big deal," Andre reassured her. "It's only a few out of so many. By the way, what's your name? I'm Andre."
"Oh, well I'm-" She was suddenly cut off by a voice behind Andre, which turned out to be Coryn, who had gone to check the missions.
"Hey guys, which missions are you..." She suddenly realized her mistake in intruding on their conversation. "Oh! Oh, sorry, I didn't realize you were talking. Go on, I'm still deciding over here."
Andre had another flashback to when Will had interrupted his conversation with Lyrasen. It wasn't really the same thing, but he couldn't help but notice the similarities. "So, uh, you were saying?"
"Right, my name is Marina. Like I said, I'm new around here. Have you chosen a mission yet?"
"Yeah, I chose this thing about a Holy Grail. Go ahead and check them out if you want."
"Alright, let's see..." Marina pondered for a moment over the lists, and finally settled on one. "This one, the one with the Hell cave." She looked at Andre's name already on the Holy Grail quest. "Looks like we won't be working together this time, but maybe we can some other time. Furs have gotta stick together, right, Eiffel-Ears?"
Andre was thrown off by that remark. Not just because his fennec ears were a sensitive topic to him, but because that's exactly what Lyra had called him. He even considered for a moment that it was Lyra in disguise, but he dismissed the thought immediately. That's impossible, I already know her power. Somebody probably just made that insult up recently and all the huge-eared people are the butt of its joke now. Even with this self-reassurance, he was getting a little weirded out by this point.
Marina saw his distress. "Uh, Andre?"
"Oh, sorry, yeah. I hope we can meet later then." Then, Andre thought of something. Things were going the same way, but there was one thing he could change; the thing that had caused everything to go wrong in the first place. "So, would you like to know about my power?"
"Oh, about that transformation thing? Don't worry, I've got it."
"Wh-How did you..." Andre started scrambling through his own mind to think of how she might possibly know him from before. The first person he ever decided to tell right away somehow already knows?
A devious smile broke out across Marina's face. "Pssh, you look so surprised. Don't worry, I get that a lot. My power is knowledge of everyone else's powers."
"Oh..." Andre calmed down. At least now he knew he didn't have any creepy stalkers. "Well, I've got to go get some breakfast and stuff now, so seeya."
"Until next time," Marina said, still smiling at Andre's tiny plight of uncertainty.
Andre first went back to his room to clean up. With nobody else around, he had just thrown his clothes around without a care, left his bag with his things open, and his bed was a mess. While he was setting things right, the alarm clock suddenly started blaring. "God dammit," Andre muttered. He always forgot to turn them off when he got up before them. He fumbled with the device for a good minute, somehow unable to turn it off despite setting it last night. He had just got it turned off when he turned to the door, hearing it open.
In the doorway stood Lyra, a pillow in her hand. Before Andre could get a word out, the pillow hit his face. She wordlessly strode in and took the pillow back out with her.
Andre sighed after she left, memories of last night rushing into his head...
~~~LAST NIGHT~~~
Andre knocked on the door. He stood there a bit awkwardly, hoping nobody was around to notice. He didn't think he should feel awkward, but he just was.
The door opened, and it was Lyra standing in front of him. "Hey," Andre said weakly, trying to keep his voice steady. "Could you step out for a moment?"
Lyra sighed at the sight of Andre and rolled her eyes, obliging and walking out to join him in the hall. "What do you want?"
"Well, I just really want to apologize for things, like that dumb prank, and that armour, and just all that stupid stuff. I didn't want to deceive you..."
"Well, you did, and there's no changing that. I can't believe you would do that."
"Come on, was it really that bad?"
"Yes. I thought I finally found a nice person, a upstanding member of society, I could sympathize with, and he turns out to be a huge fake! How do you think I feel about that?"
Andre was already starting to regret this. "Come on, I'm still a nice guy, and I do know because I am a upstanding member of society! I'm most comfortable as one, I may as well be one. Why can't you just get over the fact that I can also be human?"
"It's just-it's just not the same, alright?" Lyra paused and looked around, as if unsure about what she was going to say next. "You know, my brother was a shapeshifter too. Like you, but without a human form. I just...always hated how he had something actually useful, while all I can do is talk to animals who half of the time have nothing to say."
"What, so you're just jealous? That's no reason to go insane over this."
"Look, you used your power to play jokes on me. You tricked me, plain and simple, and I am never going to forgive you for it." Lyra gave Andre a hateful stare, and stormed back into her room, slamming the door. Andre suddenly became aware again of the open area around him, and checked again for nearby students, but he was alone. He leaned against the wall and sighed.
"I am so a upstanding member of society..." he muttered sullenly.
He saw his friends from yesterday sitting with a small army of students he was unfamiliar with. "Morning everyone, good to see you all are alive and well." He took a bite out of his apple, which would be enough to hold him over until noon. "So, how are you all this morning?"
"As do I." Maxwell retorted abruptly, not bothering to pay any more attention to the rude manner of his less-than-friendly acquaintance. He sat on the far end of Martin, facing Josephine and Paku. He continued to eat his apple and observe the others. In one of his reflective essays, he wrote about the teenage mind and its undying desire to say what's on their mind and have absolutely no regard for anyone else. He wasn't much fun in conversation after he noticed this, he started trying to control it and focus more on listening than speaking.
Blood. Blood everywhere. How do people have this much blood? And oh God it's coming from under the door. Is there...is someone inside? Should I open it? It's all wrong. Twisted. Him. He's the reason. Is he the one behind the door? Maybe I should che--OH GOD SPARE ME AAAGH.
He bolted up and smacked his head on the roof of the cupboard. Which in turn prompted the sound of confusion outside. The door opened and a girl peered inside at him, blinking in surprise. Then she screamed.
"THERE'S A BOY IN HERE! GETOUTOUTOUT GET. OUT. PERVERT!"
The scream shocked him into movement. He shot out of the cupboard and made for the far door. On his way he passed a mirror and stopped to take in his appearance. Well-dressed for one, in shades of grey. His skin was darker than the clothing, but couldn't be called black. It was more like a darkened shadow draping across his skin. And his hair was white. That shouldn't have happened. The appearance was all wrong.
Something very heavy smashed into the wall next to the mirror and he remembered he was supposed to be running, something he resumed with gusto. Out the door, past accusing/curious stares, and down the hall.
Enter one Phobos.

Eris had completed his meal and found it satisfying. A much wider variety of flavors than he was used to, but delightful all the same. He exited the cafeteria and found another crowd around the notice board. New missions already?
He slipped the lump of wax and lighter out of his suit and pressed through the crowd. Just as before, he softened the wax and dotted the paper before pressing his signet ring to complete the seal.
He rather liked the sound of this gang mission.
